Job Description
Device Development Group in Malaysia is looking for an experienced Business Operations Manager to join the central operations and execution team to revolutionize the computing industry by delivering Intel next generation Client CPU SoC with latest process technology in the era of hyper scale computing, in partnership with several Intel business units, and a number of other horizontal support services. The candidate will focus on overall talent management, contract workers engagement, support execution forecasts, oversee budgets, support hiring, and in general, help ensure engineering teams are predictably resourced with maximum efficiency. Further, the position will require creative approaches to solving problems at scale, finding efficiencies across a large engineering team, and leveraging those efficiencies to increase the throughput, productivity, and capacity of the organization. This requires working across engineering, business operations, and finance teams that support the Client Roadmap, understanding silicon design development cycles, holding leaders accountable, innovating with new approaches to data analysis and business intelligence, and ensuring quality data reaches our leaders to support decision making and trade-offs. A successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to execute at both a tactical and strategic level in support of highly dynamic roadmap, and be comfortable defining assumptions to make progress despite dynamic changes and ambiguity. Additional role includes the following responsibilities: Facilitate organization capability development and workforce planning by aligning with strategy and priorities. IMBO, and Priority, drive decision-making process, internal operating model, etc. Manage skillset development, own people strategy and communication. Identify and assign specific resources, communicate expectations to team members. Resources management. Identify right resource needs, scope, competence, hiring/rotation strategy. Sponsor cross-functional global sharing platform and develop people strategy. Guardian for organization image, build communication strategy i.e. newsletter, employee dialogue, cyber chat, open forum, etc.


Qualifications

Candidate should have a bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business or any related field with at least 5+ years of experience in operations, management or finance, or any equivalent planning and forecasting responsibility that required impeccable attention to detail and exposure to Intel's financial or operational processes. Able to see a bigger picture and connect various dots, and accountable for delivering results. Demonstrate strong leadership, stakeholder management and is a contributing Team Player. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, to excel as a liaison between the requestor and their data, to summarize, up-level, and explain in simple terms when needed. Working with business data (particularly Excel - pivot tables are a must, power BI is a plus). Processing and interpreting business, financial, and project data. Plan and execute the plan to deliver result within a constrained budget. Explaining variance to plan, and justification for incremental need. Implementing systems and processes to create economies of scale. High performer with a track record of significant accomplishments with strong cultural traits.. Good facilitation skills and strategic thinking. Strong written and verbal communication and good presentation skills. Multicultural and diversity process experience. Driving continuous process improvement and people skills development.

Work Model for this Role

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
