Historically, the travel requirement for this position has ranged from 80-100%. KPMG is currently seeking a Senior Associate to join our Advisory Data Organization.


+ Work closely with the Chief Data Officer and Global ESG Data Program Manager to support the launch, maintenance, and maturation of the current global ESG data & insights program

+ Support the design, development, and maintenance of the ESG Insights team operational model, including the Global ESG Data Portal, global demand data collection, processes and procedures, escalations management, and program planning

+ Assist with the management of daily operations for the ESG Insights team, a UK and India-based ESG analytics COE delivering turn-key ESG analytics to client-facing delivery teams

+ Establish, maintain, and provide subject matter experience on ESG, ESG data, and related standards and frameworks to the Global ESG Insights team to enable their work

+ Help global engagement teams in researching, understanding, acquiring and properly utilizing data assets for global ESG needs, including the upkeep of a global ESG data catalog and registry to build transparency into member firm ESG research, acquired data assets available, and related D&A use cases

+ Aid in the collection and reporting of success metrics, KPIs and initiatives related to the use of ESG data assets globally


+ Minimum two years of recent experience related to program management, data analysis, acquisition, applied analytics, preferably in or related to consulting

+ Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with a focus in data science, information technology, computer science or related fields preferred

+ Subject matter experience in ESG standards and frameworks, including SASB, WEF, GRI, TCFD, as well as global sustainability topics

+ Strong understanding how data is used to solve business problems and to assist customers/users with data assets and tools navigation

+ Comfortable managing/coordinating with ESG related leaders across time zones

+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present to an audience, self-starter, organized and structured in approach
