KPMG is currently seeking a Senior Associate to join the Department of Professional Practice in our Audit organization.


Responsibilities:


+ Work closely with accounting professionals/authors in DPP to produce content for our comprehensive reference library Alex and the Financial Reporting View (FRV) website

+ Apply KPMG editorial style and understandability rules at a rapid pace while maintaining high quality standards

+ Ensure the timely flow of content (including email newsletters, practice letters, work papers and other guidance) through the specific stages of the publication cycle, including content production, page layout, copy editing, proofs, quality assurance, approvals and e-distribution

+ Partner with other teams to ensure timely publication of new and updated content

+ Use firm-customized Word templates to produce content


Qualifications:


+ Minimum three years of recent experience in operational support for authoring and formatting technical content, preferably in a professional service or public accounting firm

+ Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university required

+ For long-form content, exceptional editing and proofing skills for internal and external audiences; for short-form content, exceptional writing skills for a variety of channels including social, digital, website and email; contribute to graphic design elements as necessary

+ Strong technical aptitude; advanced proficiency in Word; proficient in Microsoft Excel, Power Point and Outlook, Adobe Acrobat; proficiency in SharePoint and Visio a plus

+ Strong organizational skills, ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, proficiency to work effectively within teams and independently, commitment to high performance and continuous improvement

+ Ability to travel to NYC periodically
