**Job Description**

The Program Manager, Supply Chain will contribute to the companys success by planning, executing and managing Supply Chain blue chip initiatives and programs, as well as lead process improvement efforts within the CVS retail supply chain.

The Program Manager, Supply Chain will lead the creation of project plans and deployment of critical projects, lead cross functional teams, track performance and results, and manage initiative reviews with Senior Leadership. The position is responsible for actively managing multiple time-sensitive, visible and complex projects simultaneously; proactively solving issues, conducting assessments, making recommendations and initiating improvements; and managing relationships and expectations of a diverse set of stakeholders.

This role will work with various business partners to drive targeted supply chain improvement programs and initiatives utilizing numerous process improvement methodologies and fundamental project management techniques to drive continued supply chain optimization. The Program Manager, Supply Chain will play a coordinator role across multiple business functions in driving process improvement teams, and will leverage data based decision making, significant data analysis and other process improvement tools as appropriate.

**Required Qualifications**

5+ years of previous experience in project management, supply chain, inventory management, distribution and/or category management.

**Preferred Qualifications**

Project management experience with solid understanding and applied application of project management tools, techniques and methods

Ability to identify, manage and mitigate project risks

Ability to communicate project scope, objectives, plans, schedules and risks in ways that are relevant to stakeholders and project members

Strong analytical skills

Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to build strong relationships and contribute in a team setting

Strong critical thinking skills

Proven ability to work among ambiguous direction in a fast paced environment

Strong communication and organization skills

Excellent problem solving skills

Comfort in presenting to all levels of enterprise leadership

Excellent business acumen and leadership abilities

Self-direction, independent decision making and ability to lead cross functional teams

Strong motivation and influencing skills

8+ years of previous experience in project management, supply chain, inventory management, distribution and/or category management


Lean Six Sigma Black Belt


Bachelor's degree or GED with equivalent years of related work experience.

Master's preferred.
