These products play a critical role within MetLifes global strategy to grow the Group Benefits business, with an annual growth rate target of 30%. The A&H Pricing team serves as critical business partners within this strategy, working closely with the market segments and product team to manage the business and design and execute strategies to continue to grow and offer valuable benefits to our customers.

**Key Responsibilities:**

+ Assist in product development and pricing new A&H products:

+ Working on experience studies to develop pricing assumptions

+ Researching product regulation and filing requirement

+ Preparing actuarial materials for state filing and responding to state filing objections

+ Develop and maintain Excel Quoting Tool for underwriting. This tool is responsible for quoting all A&H business and requires an advanced understanding of Excel/VBA to maintain.

+ Work with underwriters in case pricing escalations, elevating to A&H Pricing Team Lead as needed

+ Provide pricing and financial support to various partners in Product, Sales, Underwriting, Operations and Implementation organizations

+ Work with large datasets from multiple data sources for pricing and financial analysis

**Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills:**


+ Bachelor's degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, or a related field.

+ Completion of 3 SOA exams.

+ Strong technical skills: Advanced MS Excel skills including Visual Basic programming. Any other experience with programming languages is a plus.

+ Experience with large data sets.

+ Strong verbal and written communication skills.


+ New or Near ASA is preferred.

+ SQL or Alteryx is highly desired.
