Senior Account Manager (m/f/d) - Major Accounts

Location: Germany u2013 home or office based

 

 Position Summary

The Senior Account Manager is responsible for a small number of international accounts who have their headquarters in Central Europe. Ensuring that Infor becomes the strategic partner for digital transformation in target accounts (new business). Responsible for protecting and growing revenue, as well as elevating and maintaining excellent relationships with Executive Leadership of the account.

Your Responsibilities Include

  • Developing, communicating and executing a multi-year strategy for each account
  • Growing revenue in assigned account base across all Infor solutions
  • Coordinating multi-functional teams from across Infor to deliver on revenue growth and customer satisfaction objectives.
  • Ability to produce accurate work to tight deadlines under pressure
  • Demonstrate strong personal ownership of business and sales issues
  • Ability to communicate clearly in writing and orally at CXO, senior users and partners
    Knowledge and Skills, You Bring to the Organization
      • Experience communicating with various levels in the customer organization, including; plants, HQ, across all key business process disciplines, involving IT, business, operations and executive management
      • Experience must have been gained from selling to global and regional multi-nationals
      • Experience as u2018Prime' or u2018Account Lead' are essential
      • Proven experience of consistently delivering 100% or above of target for a sustained period
      • Extensive experience of all common revenue/delivery models (on-prem to SAAS)
      • Demonstrable experience in helping customers initiate digital transformation
      • Have regularly sold software deals (on-prem/SAAS) in the range of $2m plus
      • Strategic understanding of Automotive and Manufacturing Industry

        Demonstrable experience in mapping solutions to overarching business outcomes:

        • Understanding a company's overall business strategy
        • The process used by executive management to delivery on strategy
        • The identification of issues and challenges which inhibit the delivery of strategy
        • Understanding of core business processes and ability to discuss process improvement
        • Ability to map key executive and process owners to specific business process areas
        • How to position technology as an enabler of business process improvement
        • Understanding of the impact of technology on business and process change, with ability to tie a value and technology proposition
        • Good understanding of the broad technology landscape deployed across a global enterprise, including:ERP, EAM, CRM, SCM, PLM, MES systems
        • Demonstrate a clear understanding of a complex major account sales process, includingAccount planning and management
        • Needs analysis and creating a value proposition
        • Ability to sell value to the CXO and business process improvement to middle management

            Qualifications Required

            • Bachelor's degree or equivalent, Master's degree preferred
            • Fluent in German and English language
            • Flexible in travel
