This role is critical to ensuring employees understand their role in protecting the digital assets of Whole Foods Market.

This role will work with information security leadership to identify messaging, cadence and tailored communications to ensure our customers, partners and team members are aware of the threats we face on a daily basis. In addition, he/she will develop a training program and curriculum to ensure key security concepts and requirements are understood.

· Collect the top security risks to the organization and identify the behaviors that must change to mitigate those risks
· Develop, review, implement, and maintain a security awareness program to mitigate human risks.
· Ensure security awareness programs meet all industry regulations, standards, and compliance requirements and that employees understand, acknowledge, and adopt all applicable enterprise information security policies
· Support communication efforts
· Support training efforts, including content review, compliance tracking and dashboard reporting
· Support and engage senior leaders on training and awareness
· Measure policy adoption and campaign effectiveness
· Develop standardized mechanisms for ongoing Information Security Awareness
· Execute phishing campaigns
· Drive organizational alignment for policy/standards development and adoption
· Measure the impact of training campaigns in promoting awareness and behavior change
· Develop, plan, coordinate and deliver engaging on-ground security awareness fairs and outreach sessions at various company locations on a regular basis throughout the year
· Work with multiple company stakeholders to develop €œsecurity champions€ or €œsecurity advisers€ at various business locations
· Develop and present executive status reports
· Liaise with security awareness vendors to explore educational videos, newsletters and other materials
· Review alerts published by FBI, US-Cert and other organizations to keep up to date on threat awareness posture
· Learn and share security awareness training ideas from other organizations and/or agencies

· Four year degree (or similar certification) in Communications, Business, or IT
· 5+ years experience in training and awareness with large organizations or program implementation, management, and communication experience
· A solid understanding of how people go through change and the change process
· Exceptional communication skills €“ both written and verbal
· Excellent active listening skills
· Ability to clearly articulate messages to a variety of audience
· Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships
· Ability to influence others and move toward a common vision or goal
· Flexible and adaptable; able to work in ambiguous situations
· High energy with an optimistic approach to challenging situations
· Organized with a natural inclination for planning strategy and tactics
· Experience working in information security or IT
· Problem solving and root cause identification skills
· Able to work effectively at all levels in an organization
· Must be a team player and able to work collaboratively with and through others
· Ability to establish and cultivate strategic relationships with key business sponsors
· A natural teacher, good at putting points across engagingly and enthusiastically and inspiring students to take an interest in information security
· Ability to influence internal and/or external constituents and others to modify their opinions, plans, or behaviors
· High sense of ownership, urgency, and drive


· Masters degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, related field, or equivalent practical experience
· 7+ years in building training and awareness programs for large companies, 5+ in information security
· Solid understanding of information security principles
· Consulting experience preferred
· Meets/exceeds Amazon€™s leadership principles required for this role
