Securities Services Operation L2 PMO Global Lead, VP

As part of the Securities Services Operations Global Business Management team, this role will be responsible for ensuring Operations team adherence to the Citi Organizational Project Management Office (OPMO) Policy & Standards, driving successful scorecard outcomes, agreeing best practice for Operations Project tracking (PTS) use and ensuring appropriate governance over Securities Services Operations project based book of work. The role involves working closely with the offshore SSO PMO team to review processes and requirements, provide credible challenge if required and communicate/engage with Operations PMs and Org PMO to ensure clear guidelines, appropriate escalation of risks and issues and a clear reporting framework.

Securities Services Operations, part of the ICG Operations group, is an organization of ~5,900 staff supporting key Securities Services products including Custody, Funds, Middle Office and cross functional client service, billing and implementations delivery. The Project Management portfolio across SSO includes ~100 Initiatives, Programs and Projects managed by ~50 Program and Project Managers within Securities Services Operations functions. With evolving new Project management requirements, regulatory deliverables (Consent Order) and ongoing Technology transformation, a senior lead is required to drive compliance with Policy and Standards, maintain scorecard adherence and ensure robust and effective Project Management for Securities Services Operations globally

**Key Responsibilities:**

+ Ensure Citi policy & standards, as defined in the ICG Program and Project Management (PPMP), are met ensuring evidence to support, and maintain SSO scorecard measures (Process Adherence results from PMQC reviews)

+ Manage monthly SSO book of work meetings (updates to senior management team) and ensure clear, concise communications on SSO PMO matters

+ Define a clear governance & control framework to ensure Project Management Office updates and key performance indicator metrics are provided to Operations senior management team and Program/Project managers (PMs) to enable proactive risk management and timely completion of Citi Org PMO deliverables

+ Promote a culture of compliance and risk awareness across the PM community

+ Oversight of PMO related deliverables for Citi internal audit / regulatory reviews for SSO

+ Ensure changes to policy procedures & standards are appropriately communicated. Liaise with ICG Org PMO to understand upcoming policy and process changes and ensure effective communications and training to Operations PMs and management team

+ Act as central point of escalation for any SSO PMO deliverables to ICG Org PMO and Escalate risks and issues to the SSO senior management team and line controls officers (LCO)

+ Represent SSO Org PMO risk and control forums, including PM Taskforce member representing SSO (providing SSO PM feedback on procedural changes, new requirements, process and toolset issues

+ Develop cross functional relationships with Securities Services Technology (SST) PMO team to ensure Operations and technology programs are aligned

+ Liaise with Business Management Office PMO team (Gurgaon) to ensure timely execution of controls-related remediation action and timely submission of work effort artifacts

+ Manage the Operations Training and communications plans, working closely with the responsible Project Management controls functions.

+ Continuously identify opportunities to improve and simplify processes

This role will provide the incumbent with an insight to the Global Business Management Team and Securities Services Operations Project Management Portfolio across multiple Operations business lines globally. The role will provide the opportunity for regular interaction with Operations Senior Leadership Team, and to develop a deeper understanding of the Securities Services products, functions and project management book of work


+ Experience of interacting at senior levels and ensuring credibility is maintained through solid delivery against commitments

+ Experience of working in process driven and controls-focused environment

+ Experience of working in Operational control or oversight role

+ Experience of managing project deliverables

+ Experience of Citi Program and Project Management processes (including PTS) an advantage


+ Solid organizational skills including strong attention to detail and the ability to multi-task effectively

+ MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) required

+ Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal

+ Highly motivated, Proactive self-starter with ability to use own initiative and take lead to devise innovative solutions

+ Should demonstrate a commitment to quality and strong attention to detail

+ Strong problem-solving skills and analytical approach
