**Business Overview:**

Citi's Securities Services businesses comprise of Direct Custody and Clearing (DCC) and Global Custody and Funds Services. DCC provides asset servicing and transaction functions primarily to intermediaries such as broker-dealers, banks, fund managers, insurance companies and other global investors through our proprietary network in over 60 markets. Global Custody and Funds services provides asset servicing and transaction functions within the Global Custody offering, in addition to Fund Accounting, Transfer Agency and Middle Office Services to global asset managers and asset owners.

We have a long history of shaping and accelerating the process of change in the securities markets infrastructure, actively participating in key working groups and industry committees in each market in which we are present.

Over recent years, Citis SS business has focused on leading more innovative utilities and services, bringing a number to market, with examples of more disruptive utilities and the support of digital assets and digitization.

Within the SS business, there is a newly formed group dedicated to forwarding the innovation agenda under data and digital, with the expectation of building out the platform and services to facilitate and enable clients in the future operating environment.

In a nutshell our strategically fueled team leads data services, data governance, quality and architecture for Securities services from product perspective. We work closely with Technology partners to ensure performance and project delivery meet expectations, whilst simplifying securities services systems footprint ensuring best use of investment dollars. We are responsible for designing and delivering data analytics, data governance and data science solutions for Securities Services.

It is a chance to play a pivotal role in designing state-of-the-art data analytics solutions.

The Data Analyst will ensure stakeholders support and an execution roadmap to deliver on the strategic services, working alongside Technology and Operations and domain Product owners to fulfill.

**Responsibilities include:**

+ Analyse data related requirements and define solutions to solve business problems including trend analysis, key performance indicators and predictive analytics

+ Explore emerging technology products, conduct proof of concept and articulate value and ROI

+ Work closely with data architects and developers on building and deploying best in class data analytics solutions at scale

+ Design new and support existing internal analytics solutions (Qlik Sense and Qlik View)

+ Support Securities Services data governance team in on-boarding data inventories and establishing certification process for new data flows

+ Implement predictive analytics models, drive adoption and ROI

+ Communicate requirements with Senior members of the Securities Services organization, drive discussions and influence adoption of data standards, working closely with data transformation teams across multiple disciplines

+ Drive project management capabilities to ensure implementation of new data policy standards, including aligning CDMP specific roles supporting Securities Services

+ Support the DGO (Data Governance Office) through detailed analysis, reporting, and tracking of policy initiatives across functions, transformation program leads, and other governance responsibilities

+ Participate in regular reviews, including progress towards compliance of data elements, data domains, data quality issues, scorecard metrics and other data requirements in conjunction with Data Governance Professionals and other data roles

+ Participate in regular update to Business Risk, Compliance and Control Meeting (BRCC)

+ Awareness of and work towards closure of key regulatory commitments, in conjunction with CDGO and Internal Audit; provide regular updates to senior data management committees

+ Work with IT partners using agile methodology to drive data architecture related enhancements and facilitate the change required across the business

+ Support annual reviews and assessment across Securities Services disciplines

+ Acts as a change agent and collaborator, partnering with LOBs, Global Functions, and CDO team to establish enterprise wide data programs

+ Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

**This role will be a great opportunity for someone who has:**

+ Experience in designing and developing business analytics solutions using Qlik, Tableau or Power BI

+ Understanding of machine learning, ML Ops and data science

+ Prior professional experience in delivering and managing change in a technical and business data related environment

+ Demonstrated experience delivering change in a collaborative, agile team environment as well as more standard frameworks

+ Ability to monitor tight deadlines or unexpected requirement changes

+ Demonstrated ability to plan, organize and prioritize work within a delivery framework

+ Strong collaboration, communication, coaching skills and out-of-the-box thinking

+ Strong client servicing and presentation skills

+ Strong ability to establish, build and maintain strong effective working relationships at all levels across the organization

+ Demonstrated development experience using modern technology, architecture frameworks, models, methodologies and disciplines and infrastructure

+ Strong familiarity with technology products in the areas of data processing / ETL, message-oriented middleware, data warehousing, business intelligence, business process analysis, big data and machine learning

+ Demonstrated ability to work independently as well part of virtual teams to deliver on strategic outcomes

+ Demonstrated Data Analyst skillset

+ Knowledge of the Custody and Fund Services Industry

+ Knowledge or familiarity with DAMA (Data Management Associate) Industry Standards is helpful

**Education** :

+ Graduate Level (in Finance, Commerce or Equivalent Discipline) or equivalent Professional Qualification.
