OUR IMPACTThe SecDiv Change Management group acts as a centre of change management excellence for SecDiv Business in Goldman Sachs. The team drives & executes projects within secDiv business, in partnership with Strats, Operations, Engineering, Compliance, Internal Audit & other teams. The team will also engage with Cross-Bus such as CIMD, IBD etc.. on certain initiatives.


JOB SUMMARY AND RESPONSIBILITIESWere looking for an experienced Project Manager to join our Operations Sec Div Change Management team who wants to use their skillset and domain expertise to deliver end-to-end implementations of projects in the Operations Division at Goldman Sachs.\u2022 Support the delivery of cross-Operations, high priority projects across all typical project phases:o Project initiation and scoping, including definition of plans and setting and managing realistic expectations for successful delivery with project stakeholderso Business analysis and requirements definitiono Testing and implementation, in particular user acceptance testingo Ongoing project management, including progress monitoring, reporting and quality assurance throughout the project\u2022 Build and manage strong relationships with project sponsors and stakeholders in Operations, Technology and the business\u2022 Understand the firms and Operations strategic plans, business, process and architecture in order to influence design and develop solutions\u2022 Work with Operations business units to assess and streamline processes in order to mitigate risk, cost or service issues and generate efficiencies


BASIC QUALIFICATIONS\u2022 Bachelors / Undergraduate Degree\u2022 Minimum 7 years of work experience in a business analysis / project management function supporting both business process and technology implementations\u2022 Demonstrate excellent process and project management skills\u2022 Ability to engage with and influence stakeholders outside their direct control\u2022 Comfortable facilitating project working groups and possesses strong data gathering skills\u2022 Excellent communication and interpersonal skills both written and oral; confident in interactions with senior stakeholders\u2022 Have a proven track record of scoping and driving delivery of projects and achieving results independently, on time and to budget including:o Strong analytical skills including process analysis; should be detail orientedo Ability to design practical solutions and to work to tight deadlines under pressureo Project management skills including project scope definition; project issues, challenges, risks definition; status reporting; User Acceptance Test executiono Strong organization skills - ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize accordingly\u2022 Demonstrate comprehensive understanding of job-related operational and compliance procedures\u2022 Understands and appropriately addresses Goldman Sachs compliance and reputational judgment issues


TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE\u2022 Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project and SharePoint\u2022 Proficient in usage of JIRA and JIRA plugins for reporting\u2022 Relevant industry certification such as, PMP, Scrum, CCBA, PRINCE2 or other specialized PM/BA certifications will be preferred


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS\u2022 Strategic thinker with strong business analysis and planning skills\u2022 Capable of identifying and interpreting wider-ranging issues: \u2018Big picture understanding\u2022 Provides creative & innovative solutions\u2022 Ability to formulate the implications of a specific solution across processes, e.g. costs, risk, service\u2022 Demonstrate understanding of Operations processes and procedures and an ability to learn quickly\u2022 Knowledge of products and processes related to the financial services industry would be an advantage, as is related experience in technology strategy or in a client service or business function and / or management consulting
