Job summary
The next generation of identity management will bring together users, services and applications from all aspects of the cloud space.

We're looking for software engineers to come join AWS as we embark on this journey to bridge the gap between identity management and access in the productivity space.

AWS WorkDocs is one of the first and core productivity tools that will integrate into this next generation identity solution. You'll have the opportunity to contribute directly to the WorkDocs system as well as many others as the solution scales out to the entire productivity suite.

Key job responsibilities
As a member of the team you will work with senior engineers to deliver high quality code that scales with the product. At AWS we believe in each team's full ownership of the product and as such, you will be expected to contribute to the lifecycle and management processes of the product under guidance from other engineers and stakeholders.

It's always Day 1 here at AWS and as member of the team you will have the opportunity to shape and contribute to the future of some core identity services within the AWS platform. We are looking for passionate engineers who are great problem solvers and work well with other engineers and stakeholders.

About the team
WorkDocs is a product that is used by Amazonians and external companies alike. We have built WorkDocs using other AWS Products for storage, workflows, compute, messaging, analytics and more. Our customers use our product through various channels - web, mobile and desktops. Our team is a first-hand user of our own product and this makes us a unique team that is able to walk in the shoes of our customers. This translates into a tight feedback loop and high empowerment to reduce customer friction and innovate. Come build on AWS with WorkDocs and scale your career to the next level.


  • Programming experience with at least one software programming language.
  • 1+ years of experience in software development

  • Strong Computer Science fundamentals in object-oriented design, data structures, algorithm design, problem solving, and complexity analysis
  • 1+ years of experience contributing to the architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and current systems.


  • Bachelor/Master's Degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 3+ years of software development experience
  • Experience with cloud based authentication and authorization strategies (e.g. JWT/OAuth etc.)
  • Experience with distributed systems and high throughput services
  • Experience with continuous delivery, system operations, monitoring, and web services
