Job Description:

As a key member of the engineering technical team, this individual is the primary designer for front end signal processing anti-jam for Ground and Weapons GPS M-Code systems.  The products for which these systems are developed will operate in military embedded real time systems. Experience in Global Positioning Systems / Position, Navigation and Timing technology is required.   

Essential Functions:

  • Serve as primary designer for modernized GPS receiver anti-jam signal processing and will be expected to survey technology, identify candidate techniques, model and evaluate their viability, write IRAD proposals and plans, presents papers, and provide senior technical direction.
  • Work under consultative direction against annual goals and objectives.   
  • Partner with the Business Development and the Leadership Team to advance our market footprint consistent with the projected business plan.
  • Provide technical leadership to a team of engineers that includes leading the execution of design, build, integration and test activities, problem resolution and verifying that the deliverable products meet all program and customer requirements.
  • Provide project management reports as required, support senior level reviews as necessary.
  • Provide inputs and reviews of the engineering technical baseline as part of proposal efforts.
  • Interface with the program’s leadership and other teams (SW and HW) on a frequent basis, conduct or participate in customer and/or program technical review presentations, and provide progress status updates on work products.
  • Participate in product development process including design reviews.
  • Provide guidance, coaching and training to other employees across the Company within area of expertise.


    • Requires practical knowledge of job area typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience. Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) or related discipline and a minimum of 12 years of prior related experience or Graduate Degree or equivalent with at least 10 years of prior related experience.
    • Experience with GPS receiver RF and digital electrical hardware development and integration, or equivalent experience with RF systems
    • Knowledgeable and experienced with GPS or RF receiver anti-jam techniques
    • Background in RF signal processing
    • Demonstrated knowledge of Navigation Systems Architectures and techniques
    • Demonstrated knowledge of GPS/GPS Navigation Subsystem requirements, design, algorithms or performance analysis
    • Can work effectively in both independent and team environments
    • Candidate should have strong verbal and written communication skills. 
    • Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. 
    • US citizenship required for this position.

      Preferred Additional Skills:

      • Experience in using MATLAB Scripts and Simulink for modeling and simulation is a plus.
