(SAS Required) Consumer Risk, Data Projects, Credit Analyst, Manager

The Credit Analyst is an intermediate-level position responsible for managing loan loss forecasting models, internal and regulatory stress testing exercise, credit cost plan/outlook for unsecured lending products.


+ Report to Senior Credit Risk Manager to monitor and manage credit loss forecasting models (model development/ validation/ renewal), loan loss reserve forecasting (IFRS9, CECL), stress testing exercise, local/ US regulatory reporting, periodic credit cost plan, and regional data projects for unsecured lending products

+ Maintain compliance with Citibank credit policies/practices, regulatory policies and prepare, update, and ensure approval of all internal policy and procedure changes, keeping proper change and approval logs

+ Continuously identify process improvements and efficiencies to support business unit goals through dissecting issues and making recommendations

+ Build working relationships with various teams across the bank, including deal, coverage and product teams

+ Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.


+ Minimum 5 years of risk management experience in Unsecured Lending Products with proven track record in team management

+ Experience with econometric and statistical modeling or application risk scoring

+ Experience in big data with knowledge of probabilities/distributions, building decision trees and regression models

+ Highly numerate, good communication, interpersonal skills and ability to motivate others with leadership potential

+ Highly analytics and ability to proactively manage evolving challenges is a must

+ Highly numerate with sound knowledge in SAS programming, data mining and MS word/excel/access/PowerPoint

+ Demonstrated quantitative, presentation and analytic skills

+ Consistently demonstrate clear and concise written and verbal communication


+ Bachelor or Post-graduate degree in Business, Statistics, Data Science or other related quantitative disciplines
