SAP Ariba and SAP Fieldglass are looking for a senior marketer who can bring to life  strategic marketing campaigns that align to organizational goals, thought leadership topics, solutions and key themes across the organization. This individual will be responsible for the cross-enterprise campaign hierarchy and individual campaigns within this hierarchy including oversight of design, planning, execution and measurement methodologies.

 

We are seeking a team member who will bring an ability to balance the needs of the multiple stakeholders (Marketers, Executive Leadership, Sales, Customer Value, Partners, Suppliers, Business Operations, SAP employees), strategy and execution challenges. This individual will demonstrate exceptional communication, presentation, and organizational skills, and a passion for excellence. Additionally, this role requires strong cross-team collaboration, business acumen, integrated marketing strategy, forward-looking vision, and the ability to work as a part of an extended virtual team. The pace of business is accelerating, and we work in an ever-changing environment, so flexibility, resourcefulness, and strategic influence are essential.

 

Scope of Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of senior-level Audience and Content Marketing professionals, responsible for the SAP Ariba and SAP Fieldglass Global Campaigns.
  • Develop a comprehensive campaign strategy and help shape campaign themes involving key stakeholders within SAP Ariba and SAP Fieldglass from Marketing, Sales, Customer, Supplier and Intelligent Spend Group.
  • Define common campaign structure and elements for centralized execution across priority regions and extend/adapt across regions.
  • Work with product, brand and thought leadership marketing, field marketing and sales leaders to shape campaign themes each year.
  • Coordinate with key functions as they fulfill on the programs that comprise a campaign (reputation, demand creation, sales enablement, market intelligence), with particular emphasis on orchestration of digital marketing tactics.
  • Act as an ombudsman for questions on campaign priorities, responsibilities, resources and timing, and lead Campaigns Governance Council for regular stakeholder review, feedback, and reporting of results.
  • Work closely with marketing operations to measure campaign performance and with Demand Center to course-correct and optimize as campaign execution unfolds.
  • Coordinate with finance for campaign budget allocation and with stakeholders for ongoing business reviews.
  • Field Enablement Consistently align with marketing and business stakeholders to encourage their regional field enablement. Understand the role of stakeholder management to roll out effective marketing activities, thus influencing internal stakeholders and making relevant decisions for all related marketing tactics and assets to optimize impact in the market.

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Progressive leader with deep level, cross-marketing experience, with particular expertise in marketing campaign leadership for B2B brands.
  • Self-starting, highly organized, energetic, charismatic leader with an outstanding track record of leadership, strategy, and bringing brands to life experientially.
  • An understanding of the evolving role of digital campaigns and web experience for target audiences.
  • Deep expertise in harnessing the power of analytics and research to better inform strategic decisions and optimization.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, influence and work cross-organizationally with a broad range of peers and executives.
  • Strong, highly-effective problem solver who excels at leading in an ever-changing environment.
  • Extremely solutions orientated and collaborative.
  • Strong program management skills.
  • Skilled at management of agency and production partnerships to deliver successful campaigns

 

Basic Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree
  • Minimum of 7-10+ years managing B2B marketing campaigns
  • Proven strategic leadership and Team management experience a must
