Role Description:

SAP Ariba and SAP Fieldglass are looking for a senior marketer who can bring to life  strategic marketing campaigns that align to organizational goals, thought leadership topics, solutions and key themes focused on the SAP Fieldglass audience. This individual will be responsible for all aspects of campaigns including strategy, design of the integrated planning, execution and measurement methodologies.

 

We are seeking a team member who will bring an ability to balance the needs of the multiple stakeholders (Marketers, Executive Leadership, Sales, Customer Value, Partners, Suppliers, Business Operations, SAP employees), while making measurable progress to drive audience strategy and eliminate execution challenges. This individual will demonstrate exceptional communication, presentation, and organizational skills, and a passion for excellence. Additionally, this role requires strong cross-team collaboration, business acumen, integrated marketing strategy, forward-looking vision, and the ability to work as a part of an extended virtual team. Scope of Responsibilities:

 

Strategy Design and Execution Have a thorough understanding of how to translate business strategy and objectives into effective marketing execution tactics.  Responsible for ensuring brand quality and consistency, and promote these aspects within all related demand generation and nurturing activities. Be digital savvy and able to build a tactical digital first approach including, web, social media, paid search, paid media. Ensure a balanced set of marketing activities across top of funnel pipeline stages as required.

 

Demand Management Understand the goals, objectives and processes involved in successful demand management for the Procurement and HR audience. Collaborate with key business stakeholders to increase impact of marketing. Proactively propose and push for relevant actions in order to improve lead quality, secure higher conversion rates, and optimize related campaign processes for improved future execution.

 

Market Research/Analysis Build and continue to evolve your knowledge and understanding of the market, competitive landscape, target audiences and SAP Fieldglass solutions and go-to-market approach, in order to identify relevant data segmentation, adapt messages, and optimize the campaign tactics. In addition, proactively identify opportunities for collaboration across the organization.

 

Asset Development and Management Skillfully oversee the planning, development and use of assets such as videos, blogs, infographics, website pages, white papers, and more. Manage the end-to-end asset and campaign production for innovative or strategic priority campaigns.

 

Agency Management In compliance with SAP procurement policies, identify, engage, and contract suitable (internal/external) agencies to manage respective projects, including related budget and cost. Identify and recommend preferred agencies and initiate vendor agreements to optimize investments beyond own campaign activities.

 

Field Enablement Align with marketing and/or business stakeholders in the development of effective marketing activities, thus influencing internal stakeholders and making relevant decisions for all related marketing tactics and assets to optimize impact in the market. Constantly monitor use in order to optimize support and enablement, including but not limited to re-formatting, adaptation of rollout plans, fine-tuning of target audiences, integration of new communication channels or routes, and more. 

 

Customer First Mindset In line with the marketing vision, maintain a high level of customer focus and knowledge of industry and market trends in order to create a valuable customer experience. Share customer insights and industry knowledge to empower peers.

 

Preferred Qualifications
 

  • Strong project leader with deep level, cross-marketing experience, with particular expertise in marketing campaign leadership for B2B brands, and/or for the Procurement and HR audience.
  • Self-starting, highly organized, energetic, charismatic leader with an outstanding track record of execution, strategy, and bringing brands to life experientially.
  • An understanding of the evolving role of digital campaigns and web experience for target audience.
  • Data-Driven: Understanding of how to harness the power of analytics and research to better inform strategic decisions and optimization.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, influence and work cross-organizationally with a broad range of peers and executives.
  • Strong, highly-effective problem solver who excels at leading in an ever-changing environment
  • Extremely solutions orientated and collaborative 
  • Strong program management and budget management skills
  • Skilled at management of agency and production partnerships to deliver successful campaigns

 

Basic Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree
  • Minimum of 7-10+ years managing B2B marketing campaigns
