SAP Ariba and SAP Fieldglass are looking for a senior marketer who will work with senior Marketing team, sales, account managers and other key executives to create high-impact content in support of lead generation, brand awareness and overall marketing team goals.

 

We are seeking a team member who will bring an ability to balance the needs of the multiple stakeholders (Marketers, Executive Leadership, Sales, Customer Value, Partners, Suppliers, Business Operations, SAP employees), strategy and execution challenges. This individual will demonstrate exceptional communication, presentation, and organizational skills, and a passion for excellence. Additionally, this role requires strong cross-team collaboration, business acumen, integrated marketing strategy, forward-looking vision, and the ability to work as a part of an extended virtual team. Scope of Responsibilities:

  • Leveraging the latest best practices for content consumption in new formats, act as coach/ consultant to Global Campaign Manager peers to drive succinct and compelling campaign messaging and campaign content.
  • Contribute to overall content lifecycle management, from creation and editing through approvals, publishing/ activation, auditing, measurement, curation and maintenance.
  • Support through writing, editing, producing and/or curating content to support SAP Ariba and SAP Fieldglass Global Campaigns integrated marketing strategy across the globe.  
  • Use your strategic thinking skills to establish content themes and develop and maintain an editorial calendar that maps out content development plans in conjunction with marketing goals and integrated campaigns.
  • Work with sales and marketing colleagues to keep up to date on buyer personas and align buyer needs across the customer lifecycle, including influencing other content creators outside of marketing to support the creation of required content to support campaign funnel.
  • Manage cross-functional operational review cadence to review content strategy and creation, engaging participants from multiple teams across SAP Ariba and SAP Fieldglass. 
  • Support the creation and management of marketing and sales collateral tailored to customer segments and personas as part of the Global Campaigns structure. Develop (or source) written and visual content that will resonate with prospects and customers. Work with third party vendors and project-manage to ensure on-time quality delivery. 
  • Coordinate with internal and external copywriters and designers to help create new and compelling content that complies with brand standards.  Work with Brand team to align Brand Narrative and overall Thought Leadership content into campaign design and messaging strategy.
  • Conduct and maintain a content audit to determine what can be reused/reimagined.
  • Implement metrics to ensure content marketing efforts are helping the company achieve its goals (including lead generation/nurturing, brand recognition, community engagement) and refine as needed. Must have a familiarity/interest in measurement and ROI data.

  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills; excellent proofreading skills.
  • Exceptionally organized and detail oriented.
  • Flexible, positive and a self-starter with ongoing enthusiastic interest to learn new skills.
  • Ability to be accountable, meet deadlines, multi-task and work under pressure.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, especially when dealing with vendors, customers, senior executives, sales teams and business partners.
  • An understanding of the evolving role of digital campaigns and web experience for target audiences.
  • Deep expertise in harnessing the power of analytics and research to better inform strategic decisions and optimization.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, influence and work cross-organizationally with a broad range of peers and executives.
  • Extremely solutions orientated and collaborative.
  • Strong program management skills.

 

Basic Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in writing, marketing, communications, or a related area.
  • 5-7 years of experience in B2B marketing, publishing, communications or related fields.
  • Experience working on or with a marketing team and familiarity with aspects of a campaign process and sales funnel
  • Strong computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including but not limited to: Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook. Understanding of Adobe Create Suite and HTML a plus, but not required.
  • Basic understanding of SEO and how best to optimize digital content.
  • Experience with Google Analytics and working within a Content Management System (CMS) a plus but not required.
  • Writing samples and tests will be required as part of the hiring process.
