Sales Development Manager (m/f/d)

We are looking for a Sales Development Manager (m/f/d) to work with our expert sales team of 6 employees across the world. Do you have a passion for sales? Then we would love to hear from you.  
What you€™ll do

€¢ Develop and drive sales by understanding our customer€™s needs and consequently provide relevant value proposition based on our solutions in downstream processing.

€¢ Plan, develop, implement and follow up of sales and activity plans, key account plans and other sales development activities, together with other stake holders like AMS, GSAMs, etc.

€¢ Deliver internal and external domain training on need basis, e.g. technical lectures

€¢ Initiate sales process by building relationships with key customer personnel

€¢ Budget accountable for sales of the respective product platform within the sales territory

€¢ Contribute information to sales strategies by evaluating current product results

€¢ Continuously document and validate progress of projects in related CRM systems (e.g. SFDC)

€¢ Highlight contingencies and opportunities to secure accurate forecast and budget information

€¢ Co-ordination of contacts with other possible resources external to sales

€¢ Regular customer visits to establish long lasting customer relationship

€¢ Support and coordinate marketing activities in the designated region 
Who you are

€¢ Degree in chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, biochemical engineering or biology €¢ Strong knowledge of chromatography at process development and/or industrial scale

€¢ Technical sales or sales support experience or direct employment in a biotech or pharmaceutical production or process development environment

€¢ Excellent oral presentation technique and technical writing skills

€¢ Willingness to travel on a regular basis (up to 50% or more)

€¢ Fluency in English and German (spoken and written), ability to work in a multi-culture environment

€¢ High degree of self-motivation and prioritization skills

€¢ Solid project management skills, creative, flexible and self-organised
