Join our newly formed Honeywell Robotics and embark on an exciting journey to design and develop novel Robotic systems, Computer Vision and Artificial Intelligence solutions for deployment in Warehouse and Logistics sectors around the world.  You will recruit, develop and lead a highly technical team of engineers, drive technology and operational execution and oversee internal engineering processes. Establish and execute technical and product strategies to achieve short and long-term revenue and profitability objectives in a high growth and very dynamic environment. 

The Robotics CTO will ensure a safe and engaged workforce and industry leading customer experience, in collaboration with peers, employees and cross-functional teams. You will be working directly with senior and executive level employees at some of the world€™s largest e-commerce and retail businesses delivering ground breaking robotics, vision and AI technology in conjunction with leading institutes and partners.

The Robotics CTO will drive technology development through effective cross-functional collaboration and relationship building. You will work in collaboration with Offering Management to meet ambitious and exciting development and business growth targets. You will be leading our cross-functional engineering and software development team and be responsible for the success of all of our New Product Development Engineering Efforts. The CTO is responsible for building this team, set scope, schedule and manage your staff and lead development of offerings to meet target cost on various end-to-end robotic solutions. 

In this role, the Robotics CTO will primarily lead architecture, concepting, design, development, testing and Industrialization of Industrial Robots in an Agile fashion. This role is one of the most critical roles in our organization as it delivers the core of our business, Robots, and its integration to rest of Honeywell Warehouse and Logistics products and WES : Momentum.The Robotics CTO will Recruit, retain, and grow a cross-disciplinary Robotics team.  You will be responsible for developing and communicating vision, and set and manage clear goals and objectives for the team. Additionally, you will scope, plan and lead execution of various projects on technology and engineering development, value engineering and systems integration.

Other responsibilities focus on day-to-day technical direction, tracking of progress towards milestone, attending PAC meetings, maintain up-to-date project critical information in our internal system.  You will also be responsible to provide Engineering support collaborating with Offering Management and Marketing for Customer Interactions including OVOCs, Beta Sites, Trade Shows and Media, as appropriate. You will setup, direct and manage Engineering Research and Development Labs in support of New Product and Engineering Developments and Concepting. And train internal product sales and support staff on new products that you develop and bring to market.


  • Bachelor€™s and Master€™s, or preferably Doctorate degree, in Robotics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science including expertise in Software, Connectivity, Cloud Technologies, Video Analytics, Data Engineering/Science and Machine Learning
  • Demonstrated experience of successfully building and managing a mission-critical cross-functional Emerging-technology Engineering team and enabling them to achieve the highest levels of productivity and excellence.
  • Leadership that demonstrates professional will and persistence, - compassionate yet unyielding in achieving your team€™s goals during uncertainties and personal humility.
  • Practice evidence-based management being data-driven and analytical in your problem solving
  • Outcomes/Results-oriented and Execution-focused leadership with a demonstrated track record of high €œDo/Say€ ratios.
  • Domain expertise in supply chain & logistics industry.
  • Proven Industrial AMR, Autonomous Systems, ASRS development experience.
  • Proven Industrial robotics design and development experience using Fanuc, Motoman/Yaskawa, ABB, Kuka or application-specific custom-designed robots.
  • Material handling equipment system design and development experience
  • ROS/ROS2 experience.
  • Communication technologies from WPAN to 5G & Embedded and Edge computing
  • Lean Startup/Agile software development leadership experience
