REVENUE ACCOUNTANT – 1 Year Contract

This is a one-year contractor role. Reporting to the Revenue Technical Accounting Manager, you will ensure that the month end close process is properly executed and revenue transactions are consistent with both corporate and local statutory requirements and in line with agreed procedures and policies.

Primary Responsibilites

• Provide revenue accounting and analytical support for various revenue streams or projects as requested.
• Generate, organize and synthesize data into actionable business decisions with stakeholders
• Perform revenue accounting month-end close process (journal entries preparation and posting)
• Prepare month end close schedules and reporting (including variance analysis and commentary)
• Prepare supporting schedules (PBC) for quarterly review, annual audit and internal SOX compliance
• Ensure compliance with relevant corporate policies
• Supports initiatives as required (system testing and other ad hoc projects)

Education Requirements

1. Relevant Accounting / Finance Business degree

2. Possess 3 to 5 years of relevant working experience with exposure to external audit and / or commerical accounting

3. Well versed in Oracle (or similar ERP systems) and MS Office (Excel, Word)

4. Attention to details, excellent problem solving and analytical skills

5. Good communication and interpersonal skills (oral and written)

6. A team player who come with a 'can-do' attitude, and the willingness to learn!
