RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Executive Deferred Compensation Analysis / Problem Solving
  • \r\n
      \r\n
    • Possesses and applies knowledge of Executive Deferred Compensation and IRC 409A rules to completion of moderately difficult to complex assignments. Performs critical analysis of various plan designs/provisions against operational compliance, and provides guidance to clients, executive participants, and junior EDC associates as needed. Researches/resolves all day-to-day problems in relation to plan operations and identifies/escalates all issues of concern to managers as appropriate.

  • Financial Analysis / Record Keeping / Reporting
  • \r\n
      \r\n
    • Completes daily, monthly, annual record keeping and administrative tasks (as required by client and plan) to achieve timely and accurate results. Tasks generally include the processing of contributions, investment transfers and distributions; posting of dividends, earnings, price and activity adjustments; reconciliation of participant accounts and plan balances. Reviews and verifies participant and plan-level data, activity, and reporting for clients as individually assigned and for others as needed. Prepares and delivers daily and monthly plan reports, quarterly participant statements and other information as required, based on standards for quality and timing established by the practice leader.

  • Customer Service Support
  • \r\n
      \r\n
    • Assists clients and their executive participants with questions or concerns regarding individual account information and/or plan operations. Researches items and prepares timely responses, communicating/escalating issues internally as appropriate. Thoroughly documents contact with clients and participants based on standards set and using tools provided by the practice leader.

  • Client / Project Management
  • \r\n
      \r\n
    • Works directly with clients to understand their needs and expectations with regard to day-to-day plan operations and special project requests. Maintains regular and frequent communication with clients and internal ADP management regarding status updates, adherence to quality and timeliness standards, and utilization of ADP resources. Identifies and documents client requests as being within reasonable scope of existing engagement or outside of normal engagement parameters, and manages all projects using tools provided by the practice leader. Researches/resolves all day-to-day problems in relation to client/project management, identifying/escalating any issues of concern to managers as appropriate.

  • General Office / Business Support
  • \r\n
      \r\n
    • Actively contributes to and supports Seattle office initiatives identified as important by the practice leader for business growth and maintenance. Tasks may include, but are not limited to: remote coordination with other ADP offices for network and telephone support, office security and disaster recovery, SAS70 preparation, office equipment maintenance and vendor management, record keeping system and Web site testing, new client implementations, and EDC marketing and/or sales support.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • \r\n
  • 1 to 3 years of related experience
  • \r\n
  • Proficiency with Excel (pivot tables and vlookups preferrable)
  • \r\n
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • \r\n

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Financial Services experience
  • \r\n
  • Experience with deferred compensation, executive benefits, retirement plan administration, or record keeping
