The University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) seeks a Researcher IV to work with a high degree of independence, to oversee projects within the laboratory and to assume responsibility for the day to day operation of lab activities. To collect, enter, summarize, analyze and interpret data. To contribute significantly to the planning/design of studies and to help develop long or short term goals. This position will be working with the small animal phenotyping core. Work with studies related to bone mineral density and body composition, energy expenditure, feeding and locomotor activity, along with other PI funded research. Collect, review and interpret data, design and analyze experiments. This position will help with the writing of reports related to animal care and use, biosafety, hazardous chemicals and related items. Contribute to grant proposals. Annual Salary Range: $47,486.4 - $85,000 Qualifications @!*!Doctorate in a related field OR Master's degree in a related field and two (2) years of related experience OR Bachelor s degree in related field and four (4) years of related experience OR Associate's degree in related field and six (6) years of related experience required. Work experience may NOT substitute for education requirement. |
