Strategy, HR and Corporate Affairs is responsible for the oversight and execution of the Banks Strategic and Reputation Risk Management functions. Reputation Risk Management (RRM) is responsible for developing and executing the organizations reputation risk management framework, including risk appetite statement, quantitative and qualitative scorecards, risk governance committee framework as well as the enterprise policy management and risk identification programs. It is also responsible for a wide variety of integrated enterprise-wide risk reporting. This highly complex role will serve as the director of USB environmental and social risk management and the senior risk manager for Public Affairs/Communications, Corporate and Social Responsibility teams within the Strategy, HR and Corporate Affairs LOB. This position would be a direct report of the Chief Risk Officer for Strategy, HR and Corporate Affairs (SHRCA) and serve as the most senior risk person covering reputation risks, including environmental and social risks for the bank, as well as oversight of the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and Public Affairs and Communications business lines within SHRCA. Critical responsibilities include the following: + Assessing and managing the reputation risk category for theentire Bank, including policy development and ownership for the Banksreputation and environmental policies, completion of risk oversight functionssuch as authoring quarterly management letters (QMLs) and completing quarterlyrisk assessments (RAP) + Responding and advising to customer/sponsor escalation andapprovals + Oversight of risk framework principles such as policy, processand procedures that manage operational, compliance and privacy risks,overseeing new and expanded products and technology offerings, ensuring dataprivacy and governance measures are in place and effective. + Ensuring vendors/third parties are appropriately managed by theLOB in terms of value provided and proper controls are in place, along withidentification of models utilized to provide services are documented andvalidated. + The oversight of these lines includes compliance and operationalrisks such as money movement for Foundation and PAC efforts, media engagementand dealings with political figures + Manage a team of 3-4 risk managers and professionals to supportthese efforts This senior role requires the ability to credibly challenge business leaders at all organizational levels, including advocating positions to Managing Committee members, as well as regulators and auditors. **Qualifications:** **Qualifications** Basic Qualifications + Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience + 15 or more years of experience in an applicable risk managementenvironment Preferred Skills/Experience + Current or priorleadership roles in one or more risk disciplines, such as credit or financialcrimes, whether in first- or second-line roles, particularly for commercial andinstitutional business lines + Approval oradjudication experience in credit or other risk disciplines + Strong understandingof U.S. Bank risk management programs and organizational structure. + Familiarity in workingwith regulatory and audit partners + Experience creating,managing and overseeing policy and reporting + Ability to work acrossall risk categories and business lines to deliver results. **Job:** Risk/Compliance/QC/Audit/Fraud **Primary Location:** United States **Shift:** 1st - Daytime **Average Hours Per Week:** 40 **Requisition ID:** 190038864 U.S. Bank is an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to creating a diverse workforce.
