TheNew Product Development Associate Quality Engineer
will be responsible for supplier quality and manufacturing quality in new
product development. This role supports new product development teams in
providing components that consistently meet specifications, quality and
reliability, delivery and cost requirements. Collaborate with Advance
Manufacturing Engineering (AME) group in successful validation of production

**A Day in the Life**

Responsibilities Include:

+ Conductssupplier selection, assessments, quality system audits and supplierqualification.

+ Responsiblefor the component qualification process, First Article Inspections andmanufacturability assessment.

+ Assuressupplier compliance to relevant quality and regulatory standards

+ Providesfeedback to design teams regarding suppliers capabilities, tolerance,specifications, measurement and test methodologies

+ Worksdirectly with suppliers to achieve goals including some travel on a shortnotice

+ AssuresCorrective and Preventive Action plans are developed and executed atassigned suppliers in compliance with the SCAR process

+ Isinformed about advancement in area of expertise and is knowledgeable aboutnew rules, regulations, and standards

**Must Have: Minimum Requirements**

+ Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Science or technical field with 0+ years of work experience in Engineering and/or Quality.

**Nice to Have**

+ Experience in Medical, Automotive, Aerospace, etc.)

+ Skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.

+ Effective verbal and written communication
