The Corporate Bank is seeking a Relationship Associate who will be supported by a more seasoned Relationship Associate and will be working with Senior Coverage Officers and Relationship Managers in the day to day management of global Healthcare client relationships and with the delivery of client solutions.


Responsibilities:

  • Viewed by client as point person for coordination and execution of day to day credit requests, confirmation of parent support, problem escalation and information about our networks capabilities and products   
  • Supports bankers by developing working relationships with and leveraging Citis network of local bankers, product partners, operations and risk managers           
  • Assists in the preparation of client presentations, relationship reviews, global credit facility summaries and materials for the periodic  support discussions with clients
  • Attends client meetings and conference calls; able to identify key takeaways and issues/opportunities for client follow-up
  • Sound knowledge of ICG's risk credit policies and able to apply them to specific client situations. Knows when to ask for guidance.
  • Understands the credit approval process, able to navigate the internal processes and work with business and risk officers on new credit requests from both clients and the Citi network
  • Working knowledge of Citis core product range
  • Supports the negotiation of credit and product documentation requirements (e.g., Letters of credit, loans, and account documents)
  • Monitors usage on credit lines and able to recognize and recommend efficiencies to client and the network
  • Capable user of technical support systems (ICG Toolbox, Collaborate, Citirisk, Facility Data Management, CitiKYC, CRM, AMC, CIS, CLUE)
  • Support the end-to-end Know Your Customer (KYC) process for new and existing clients, ensuring all compliance requirements are completed in a timely fashion
  • Maintain current legal and marketing hierarchies via the Account Master Central (AMC) and Customer Information Server (CIS) systems
  • Ensure the timely resolution and client satisfaction on all financial and operational inquiries and investigations; assist in the coordination and management of the process for execution of high profile cross border transactions for clients




Qualifications


  • 4+ years financial services experience with focus on corporate banking, cash management, trade or securities services preferred
  • Moderate credit skills/experience preferred (e.g. financial accounting, commercial lending, industry awareness, etc.); good analytical aptitude; desire to learn, sound judgment required.
  • Knowledge of  the bank's credit culture and the credit approval process,  able to work with business and risk officers, product partners and clients on credit requests and issues
  • Strong attention to detail and follow-up skills; able to prioritize and manage  multiple client requests and projects
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, accounting or economics
  • Certified Treasury Professional Certificate, desirable
