We are seeking strong nurse leader to join busy and complex Rheumatology Service Line within Virginia Mason, with 8 providers in 5 locations. The section of Rheumatology includes a busy clinical practice, research opportunities, and resident teaching. \n

The Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor will be responsible for:\n
    \n
  • Leading and supporting the development of our staff, including: Certified Medical Assistants, Customer Service Representatives, and Nurses. \n
  • Strengthening the development of the Medical Assistant and Nurse scope of practice work.\n
  • Supporting our providers to ensure a safe practice of patient care\n
  • Ensuring maximum capacity of daily work flow is met in a safe and efficient manner.  \n
  • Supervising a team on-site, as well as managing staffing for our regional medical centers\n
  • Leadership and ownership of daily operations \n

    This role is eligible for Management Variable Compensation as well as eligible for the tuition assistant program.\n

    Qualifications:

      \n
    • \n
      A current licensure as a registered nurse plus one year increasingly responsible health care operations experience. \n
    • Demonstrated ability to prioritize the demands of daily operations and organize resources required. \n
    • Demonstrated excellent oral and written communication skills, active listening skills and conflict mediation ability. \n
    • Demonstrated ability to facilitate change and build effective teams also required.\n

      Preferred: A Bachelor's degree in nursing or related area and familiarity with Virginia Mason computer systems applications.\n
