UWMC is operated by the University of Washington and serves as a training site for UW’s School of Medicine. Our Cath Lab is a dynamic work environment, performing state-of-the-art procedures for a patient population that includes a wide variety of acuity, including those with severe heart failure, complex coronary, congenital and structural heart disease. The Cath Lab RN provides direct and indirect patient care during procedures. They effectively communicate with physicians about changes in the patient’s condition, including hemodynamic monitoring and symptomatology, and must respond quickly and accurately to changes within the care environment. They will participate in performance improvement and CQI activities within the department.

As a teaching hospital and research center, we're deeply committed to the enhancement of care for our patients, as well as the professional growth of our staff.
