Regional Product Manager, Cross Border Payments APAC, Vice President, Singapore

Treasury and Trade Solutions (TTS) provides award-winning integrated cash management and trade finance services to multinational corporations, financial institutions, and public sector organizations across the world. The TTS Asia business provides market-leading capabilities and solutions, to build and develop deep client relationships across 15 markets in Asia Pacific.

Cross Border Payments in Asia Pacific is a key growth driver for Citis cash business and a critical component of Citis differentiated network versus competitors. Asia Pacific is a region with vibrant transformation in digital payment systems, and along with the growth of innovative ecommerce companies and digital players, presents an exciting opportunity to drive cross border payments growth, innovation, and development of our solutions for clients. The business goal is to accelerate our revenue growth in a sustainable manner over the next several years, which will require executing these growth and transformation priorities successfully.

We are looking for an exceptional team player to join the Asia Regional Cross Border Payments team as a product manager in Singapore. The objective of this role is to drive and support the rollout and commercialization of existing and new cross border payment solutions in Asia, in line with the global roadmap to enable our clients to optimize their payments and grow Citis transactional FX and fee revenues. The role requires close coordination with various stakeholders at global, regional, and country level. + Drive commercialization of new/existing cross border payment capabilities by identifying and executing targeted strategies by market and client segment to help drive origination and capture new flows and business opportunities

+ Lead specific initiatives from start to finish and be the Asia product SME across select capabilities including new SWIFT initiatives, CBPR+ etc. and drive overall commercialization efforts

+ Assist regional cross border product team in delivery of key strategic regional / country initiatives and solutions to ensure faster time to market and swift execution

+ Develop deep product expertise to support a rapidly changing business environment for Citi and its clients. Understand customer needs and market trends and translate market opportunities into new capabilities and product enhancements

+ Engage with regional/global product teams and drive the local roll-out of global offerings and / or local enhancements in order to maintain and strengthen Citis position

+ This role will require closely working with partners across global/country cross border payment teams, the regional FX team, O&T, and other functions including legal, compliance, AML and risk

+ Coordinate planning and other related activities for launching of new capabilities and functionalities across Technology, Operations, implementations, and regional teams

+ Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

**Skills / Competencies:**

+ Knowledge of payments, cash management, SWIFT, FX, ecommerce and emerging payment flows. Exposure to and understanding of business analysis, data and system analysis.

+ Good understanding of the competitive landscape, client requirements, and other competing solutions would be a plus.

+ Ability to efficiently prioritize and work under pressure to meet deadlines and team objectives

+ Strong execution skills, thorough follow-through & attention to detail

+ Strong problem-solving skills; excellent interpersonal skills

+ Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal; strong presentation skills and good competence in Microsoft Office;


+ 6-10 years of relevant experience

+ Bachelors/University degree, Masters degree preferred
