**Position can be based onsite in Mounds View, Minnesota, or remote in California.**

In this exciting position you will provide financial and business leadership and act as the chief business liaison and financial person for the Cardiac Rhythm and Heart Failure (CRHF) and Cardiac Ablation Solutions (CAS) businesses. The Pacific Region Cardiovascular Group (CVG) geographically covers Washington, Oregon, and California with annual revenue of $260 million.


**A Day in the Life**


Provide financial leadership/direction to the regional sales management staff and develop/implement revenue growth plans in partnership with sales leadership.


Strategic and financial partner for the Regional Vice President (RVP), District Managers and Region Managers.


Financial Management of the Region. This includes PL analysis, expense policy monitoring, cost center management, identification and execution on strategies to improve profit margins.


Contract administration for the region in collaboration with the West Area Contract Manager and the Pricing Strategy Team. This includes executing on pricing strategies and analytics, strategy development in response to customer pricing requests, ensuring the price governance model is followed, and leading the Region Contract Analysts. The RFL will work closely with local sales management on all contracting and is key member in pricing decisions.


Lead and coordinate the development of regional and district level strategic plans. This includes account level product launch strategies.


Partners with Director of Strategic Sales and National IDN Managers/Directors to build long term strategic alliances with multiple stakeholders at key Pacific accounts.


Evaluate district and account level implant and usage trends (among other metrics) for opportunities to optimize account level strategies.


Lead regional annual operating plan process.


Provide financial leadership to the RVP, District Managers and Region Managers in developing robust, accurate revenue and expense forecasts.


Collaborate with RVP and HR on sales force alignment, performance and compensation strategies.


Collaborate with Sales Systems team to optimize systems tools and reporting.


Responsible for ensuring appropriate accounting controls (expense and revenue) and pricing policies are maintained and operating as expected.


Lead and coordinate preparation for regional quarterly business reviews in conjunction with the RVP.


**Must Have: Minimum Requirements**


Bachelors Degree with 10+ years of work experience in finance or accounting (8+ years with an Advanced degree)


**Nice to Have**


MBA strongly preferred.


5 years health care experience.


Additional experience in sales, marketing, purchasing, healthcare or related areas desirable.


Experience with contracting/negotiation and customer interaction preferred.


Solid business acumen and judgment.


Sound analytical skills, ability to manipulate and interpret data.


Management experience.


Self-motivated and goal oriented.


Tactful, exercises independent judgment and discretion.


Excellent written/oral communication presentation skills.


Ability to function well in high-energy business environments.
