We have an exciting opportunity for a Regional Distribution Account Manager based in Munich, Germany. This role will be responsible for managing the Sales In business relationship with nominated Distribution partners in Germany, Austria and Switzerland for both Equipment and Supplies Distributors. Builds and maintains effective relationships with a defined Distributor base to ensure a high level of Reseller satisfaction and support increased revenue growth. Identifies, develops and typically closes new Sales In opportunities based on Country Sales Out targets. Serves as the primary interface for all services, and creates demand and brand awareness for the organization's services, software and products by working collaboratively with the Country Sales Out teams who manage Reseller partners. The role is pivotal in providing the link between the Xerox Country Sales Out teams and the local Country Distributor in order to optimise Sales Out from a Sales In perspective.

Key Responsibilities of the Regional Distribution Account Manager:

  • To work collaboratively with and under the direction of the General Manager, European Distribution Operations Sales and with the European Distribution Account Managers (EDAMs) to manage the Distributors in the assigned Regions (Germany, Switzerland, Austria) to drive Sales In and minimize the Reseller Sales Out Backlog at month end.

 

  • Accountable for managing the day to day activities of the Xerox country-based Distributors.

 

  • Work closely with Distribution Operations back office to optimise the profile of stock, orders, sales in and systems maintenance. 

 

  • Responsible for the timely execution of large roll out deals in the indirect channel.

 

  • Responsible for the successful implementation of various initiatives agreed centrally with the Pan European Distributor accounts

 

  • Responsible for monitoring and reviewing the key performance measures of the Distribution Partners in the Country / Region. These key business performance metrics include:

    • Timely provision of required Sales Out and Inventory data to the Xerox Country based Sales Out Teams.
    • Provision of logistic services covering all aspects of Distribution from product collection through to (end) customer delivery as appropriate.
    • Inventory level and profile management including appropriate management of new product launches and product end of life product strategies.
    • Work closely with the local Distributor management teams to ensure successful development and deployment of European Transformation programs and country specific action plans.

 

  • Review on a monthly basis (or if necessary, more frequently), the performance of the Distributor against key targets and the Account Development Plan.

 

  • Lead the country Distributor Quarterly Business Reviews (QBR) and provide inputs into the centralised European Distributor QBR process in the event that any country issue needs to be brought to the attention of the Xerox Distribution and European Distributor management teams

 

  •  Proactively support and ensure that the country Distributor organisation receives the appropriate direction and support to enable them to deliver sales/marketing information to the Resellers.

 

  • Ensure appropriate representation and brand awareness of Xerox products and services on the Distributors country website.

 

  • Maintain a sound and up-to-date knowledge of competitive offerings and tactical actions

Candidate Experience:


  • Significant experience from a Distribution background

  • Experience in the Distribution IT/Printing environment would be advantageous

  • Proven Account management experience in the Printing sector and/or strong exposure in the domain of technology and software industry. Candidates from both backgrounds will be considered

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, presentation, and demonstrated analytical skills

  • Fluent in German and English

  • Ability to maintain good rapport and demonstrates leadership and teamwork in cross-functional teams
