HII-Mission Technologies, is currently seeking a Regional CBRN Coordinator to work in Naples, Italy.





The Navy Region Europe, Africa Central (EURAFCENT) Regional Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear (CBRN) Coordinator located in Italy is responsible for providing CBRN training and logistical support to First Responders on foreign based installations and additionally must ensure responders have serviceable CBRN Individual Protective Equipment (IPE) and operational detection equipment. The individual must be certified as a HazMat technician and should have extensive experience in operating and maintaining CBRN detection and protection equipment and demonstrated proficiency in managing CBRN inventories.

What You Will Do:




+ The Regional CBRN Coordinator must have knowledge of and experience in planning, coordinating, and facilitating CBRN support in order to ensure First Responders at respective Naval installations have serviceable and operational CBRN equipment to effectively and efficiently respond to a CBRN incident thereby minimizing disruptions and/or negative impacts on Navy missions, personnel and property. Additional responsibilities the Regional CBRN Coordinator have include, but are not limited to, those identified below:


+ Provide guidance and assistance on all CBRN matters to the EURAFCENT command


+ Deploy to respective installations under the EURAFCENT command IOT provide CBRN support as required


+ Participate as a member Threat Working Group(TWG), Operational Planning Group (OPG), and Crisis Action Team (CAT)


+ Plan, coordinate, and facilitate CBRN training for First Responders on respective installations in the EURAFCENT command


+ Perform maintenance on designated CBRN equipment IAW OEM manuals in order to ensure operability of each item


+ Ensure CBRN equipment is stored IAW OEM instructions in order equipment is maintained in a serviceable condition at all times


+ Track and maintain CBRN equipment inventory data


+ Participate in new equipment and refresher training provided by the program in order to enhance, maintain, and sustain knowledge of CBRN equipment residing at each installation


+ Provide CBRN training to First Responders on respective installations









What We Are Looking For:




+ 6 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 4 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 10 years relevant experience.


+ CBRN/HazMat training and logistics experience


+ Active DoD Secret Clearance






Bonus Points If You Have:

+ + Firefighter 1 and Firefighter 2 certifications


+ Bachelors and 10 years of CBRN/HazMat training and logistics experience; High School Diploma and 15 years of CBRNE/HazMat training and logistics experience


+ Hazardous Material(HazMat) Technician certified


+ 10 years experience in providing CBRN training and logistical support for First Responders from respective proficiencies, to include; Fire and Emergency Services (F&ES), Law Enforcement (LE)/Security Forces, and Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD)


+ Experience in providing senior staff/commanders with recommended course of actions(COAs) in support of CBRN operations


+ Experience in working with a logistics management system(LMS) ISO managing CBRN inventories
