Job Description

As the leader of the PSG Business Management organization, you will lead a team that provide primary Business Management support to our North America customers and channel across multiple vertical market segments. In this role you will report to the Senior Director of Business Management for PSG and work closely with the PSG Business Divisions organization & in partnership with the Business Management Group (BMG) team at Intel.

Within PSG Business Management we focus on: Driving profitable Revenue and Design Win growth across prioritized segments by delivering the value propositions and commercial solutions to PSG customers as One Intel. This includes executing across three key vectors of Driving Business, Creating Value and Connect & Grow our Teams.

Responsibilities (but not limited to):

  • Lead the NA Business Management organization in providing Business Management support and commercial strategy ownership for our customers in NA.

  • Lead the organization in delivering to Business Unit goals including Revenue growth, Design Win penetration and operating margin goals in alignment to our Strategic Long-Range Plan (SLRP).

  • Orchestrate the organization in developing operational plans and strategies in partnership with field sales and Business Divisions to penetrate key design groups and to secure major platform design wins. This activity includes developing business proposals and writing contracts.

  • Maintain a strong understanding of market and technology trends including customer market share, focus markets and end-products. Provide expert judgment on these metrics and trends. Lead team members in demonstrating a commanding knowledge of system level architecture and functional block diagrams of customer’s equipment.

  • Participate in the development and implementation of PSG Business Unit five-year strategic plan.

  • Support PSG’s New Product Introduction (NPI) process by communicating future design requirements of industry leading customers into our planning organization.

  • Develop and manage key corporate relationships with senior management (both commercial, product management and R&D touchpoints).

  • Lead the organization in the definition and implementation of worldwide pricing strategies and with negotiating corporate contracts.

  • Prepare and lead contract negotiations with key customer accounts

  • Organize the team with prioritizing, escalating, and driving customer issues to resolution within the organization.

  • Produce, distribute and maintain appropriate account specific information including contract pricing documents, budgetary price projection documents, formal project proposals, contract negotiations, purchasing agreements etc.

  • Maintain a governance model that keeps the organization legal.

  • Develop a high-performance diverse team of ‘Business Owners”. Keep the organization effective and efficient and support the team in continuous learning and development.

A successful candidate will demonstrate:

  • Experience in complex leadership role requiring customer negotiations, conflict resolution, decision making among competing priorities, trade-offs, ZBBs.

  • Knowledge of semiconductor market with experience in Marketing/FAE/Product Manager/Field Sales roles. Experience with Intel product portfolio or FPGA market an advantage.

  • Excellent verbal, written, and oral communication that connects at any level of the organization.

  • Strong leadership skills demonstrated with previous experience in leading teams with direct reports, matrix reports etc. 

  • Strong relationship building capabilities and interpersonal skills that creates a collaborative culture. Comfortable in engaging and influencing top senior management at Intel, partners and customers.

  • A record in recruiting, coaching, and developing a high-performing team that represent a diverse array of perspectives and experiences.

  • Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, and efficient decision making.

  • Ability to take informed risks and effectively challenge the status quo where appropriate.

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. This Position is not eligible for Intel immigration sponsorship .

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 10+ years of operations, marketing, sales, engineering, semiconductor experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Engineering or related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBA
