Description The Senior Technology Leadership Professional is responsible for all aspects of software or hardware product delivery and performance. The Senior Technology Leadership Professional work assignments involve moderately complex to complex issues where the analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors. Responsibilities The Senior Technology Leadership Professional works with design engineering and test team to drive technology solutions from design to production implementation. Serves as a subject matter expert in system capabilities and system interactions, and delivery methodology for one or more assigned systems, applications and technologies. Collaborate and work with solution engineering leaders, infrastructure leaders, business technology leaders, and the architect community to understand and advance the strategy they are enabling with their applications and teams. Ensure solution design, build, testing and delivery timelines are met with the highest quality and work to improve delivery methodologies, processes, and team productivity. Supports product evaluation and qualification on leading edge technology components. Begins to influence departments strategy. Makes decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding technical approach for project components, and work is performed without direction. Exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments. Responsibilities: + Lead the delivery activities within one or more working teams. + Determine detailed activity breakdown structures. + Assign tasks to resources allocated to their work-streams. + Accumulate and provide periodic status, communication, and appropriate escalation. + Assist engineers with Domain or Technical knowledge gaps. + Ensure delivery timelines are being met. + Work with Product Owners and Architects to ensure understanding of deliverables as well as to offer input and guidance into solution approaches. + Work with managers, architects, business users, and team members to evaluate and provide team estimates for project and work requests. + Mentor individuals and teams, working with resource managers on potential coaching situations. + Advance the adoption of new techniques, tools, and processes to streamline delivery capabilities. + Audit and provide feedback to team members regarding standards adherence, design principles, and expected patterns of work. Required Qualifications: + Bachelor's degree + 5+ years of technical experience in design, development, and testing of software applications using IBM InfoSphere Information Server and Master Data Management technologies + 3 years experience in Agile development methodologies, specifically Agile Scrum methodology. + Experience in project management methodologies and tools like MPP, PPT etc. + Experience in managing multiple projects, and Agile scrum teams to deliver the projects + Experience with cloud technologies in using the application(s) or infrastructure + Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate and communicate effectively across varying levels of personnel Preferred Qualifications + 3 years of Lead experience + Masters Degree + PMP Certified + Six Sigma Certified + MBA or other Advanced Degree + Demonstrated ability running large scale projects + Experience with technology solutions assessments and/or strategy planning oversight + Prior Java and J2EE programming experience + Comprehensive understanding of SDLC, OO principles and design patterns Scheduled Weekly Hours 40 About Us Mission: At Humana, our cultural foundation is aligned to helping members achieve their best health by delivering personalized, simplified, whole-person healthcare experiences.
