Success in this role requires ability to define strategy, partner with internal clients, an aptitude for developing insights-driven process improvement, defining customer-centric goals and a passion for developing and leading people. You will be challenged to push boundaries, propose and execute new ideas and establish best practices for the tech other recruiting team for Prime Video.

In this position, you will be responsible for building, managing, and developing a high performing team to deliver against aggressive hiring targets in a competitive market. You will partner with internal clients at the executive level and collaborate with recruiting leadership to build a candidate-centric Amazon recruiting experience.

The person in this role will:

  • Drive sourcing capability & capacity across a geographically dispersed team to proactively build diverse candidate pools while leveraging all available talent channels to expedite the recruitment of technology roles.
  • Insist on high standards and ensure operational excellence, including delivering an on-brand candidate and hiring manager experience.
  • Lead meetings with client groups to include overall hiring progress, prioritizing open positions across an organization(s), internal movement discussions, and consult in job scoping discussions as needed.
  • Own the preparation and delivery of search status reports, leading status reviews on active searches and calibration discussions.
  • Use data to confidently identify roadblocks and solutions in the recruiting process as well as influence key stakeholders around important decisions.
  • Build engage, manage and develop a team of high-performing staff in an extremely fast-paced and ambiguous environment.
  • Set team performance goals and metrics, timelines and a formal tracking process to measure and manage progress.

About the team

  • 5+ years of corporate and or search firm progressive recruiting experience including candidate generation and full life cycle recruiting.
  • 2+ years of leading direct reports
  • 2+ years of experience hiring and developing the best
  • Contact Management System/Applicant Tracking System experience for sourcing, tracking and managing candidates
  • MS Office - including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience


  • Experience managing and prioritizing multiple searches, projects and client relationships.
  • Strong client focus and commitment to continuous improvement; ability to proactively network and establish effective working relationships, continually seek new sourcing options, and develop creative approaches to delivering candidates to the customer.
  • Strong communication, organizational and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to execute recruiting strategy, including employer promotion in the marketplace, candidate management, diversity sourcing, and interview process management.
  • Ability to work independently with little direct supervision.
  • Exceptional consulting skills and demonstrated ability to work in a team environment, as a team leader and member.
  • Possess excellent analytic skills with ability to create, measure, and scale the right workflow between candidates, hiring managers, and the recruiting team.
