Our Recruiting Coordinators (RC) work closely with a team of recruiters in a fast-paced recruiting organization. The RC is an integral partner in managing recruiting activities and building candidate relationships; often providing candidates with their first impression of Amazon. This candidate will be an organizational guru, work effectively with internal and external clients and candidates, possess great communication skills, have the ability to shift gears at a moments notice and enjoy the challenges of helping to build a great organization of talented individuals. The ideal candidate is able to work effectively at scale and is able to deliver multiple projects while contributing to a fun and collaborative team environment. They will start with the customer and work backwards, forging partnerships with business leaders, interviewer and Bar Raiser communities, and other internal partners to deliver an industry leading experience. They possess strong verbal and written communication skills, have an ability to manage team priorities against tight timelines, demonstrate backbone, a sense of urgency, and have a practical, common sense approach to solving complex problems.

About the team
Amazon Student Program's (SP) engine and purpose is to drive mostly fungible hiring at scale for new graduates and interns. The Recruiting Coordinator (RC) team in SP plays a crucial role as the conduit between hiring teams, recruiters, and candidates. We are charged with providing and scheduling a candidate-centric evaluation process with a mix of methods that will enable qualified students to be offered and hired for a variety of roles.
We are a collaborative team, split between Arlington and Seattle, united to balance interviewing at scale and providing a top-tier candidate experience to all students.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 1+ years of Recruiting or HR experience
- Experience with MS Word, Excel and Outlook
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Customer centric focus, attention to detail and organization skills
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast paced, quickly changing environment
- Experience working with various Applicant Tracking Systems
- Strong tolerance for ambiguity
- Bachelors degree
