In this role as Quality Systems Manager, you will have responsibility for assuring Medtronics requirements are met in a fast-paced distribution environment.This role is located at Medtronics Third-Party Logistics (3PL) Distribution Center in Olive Branch, MS.Medical device distribution is a great opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of Medtronics customers.


You will maintain quality oversight of the 3PL supplier and assure compliance with applicable regulations and standards, such as 21 CFR Part 820 and ISO 13485.You will support initiatives to improve the quality culture, process efficiency, and supplier risk reduction.Additionally, you will act as primary liaison between MDT Distribution Quality and the 3PL on distribution quality matters, and you will maintain strategic relationships with 3PL leadership to ensure effective mitigation and resolution of regulatory risk.


**A Day in the Life**


**Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.**


+ Provides oversight for the development and maintenance of quality programs, systems, processes and procedures that ensure compliance with policies and that the performance and quality of services conform to established internal and external standards and guidelines.

+ Provides expertise and guidance in interpreting policies, regulatory and/or governmental regulations, and internal regulations to assure compliance.

+ Works directly with operating entities to provide process analyses oversight on a continuing basis to enforce requirements and meet regulations.

+ Leads audit and inspection preparation, resolution of audit and inspection findings and liaises with auditing groups and inspectors through all stages of the audits.

+ Ensures the quality assurance programs and policies are maintained and modified regularly.

+ Manage, mentor and develop staff of Quality Engineers and/or Inventory Clerks

+ Participate on Americas and Enterprise-wide project teams and committees as assigned

+ Manage problem solving teams as needed to effectively mitigate regulatory risks and Quality issues through the effective deployment of the CAPA/SCAPA process


**Must Have: Minimum Requirements**

Bachelors Degree with 5+ years of work experience in Quality and/or experience in a regulated industry OR Advanced Degree with 3+ years of work experience in Quality and/or experience in a regulated industry.


**Nice to Have (Preferred Qualifications)**


+ Experience in a medical device and/or distribution environment.

+ Prior management experience strongly preferred.

+ Knowledge of Quality regulations, standards, guidelines, directives.

+ Bachelors degree in mechanical, electrical or biomedical engineering or another relevant field

+ Operations or Quality Management experience in a distribution environment.

+ Skillful in formulating strategies, tactics and action plans to achieve results. Strong focus on developing an organizational culture that fosters a Quality Mindset

+ Ability to effectively influence key decision makers.

+ Ability to work well under pressure and maintain positive, enthusiastic attitude.


Travel 10-20% Domestic and International.
