In this exciting role as a Quality Data Analyst, you will
have responsibility for building and executing automated and semi-automated
systems that will turn data into decisions for the leading medical device

The Cardiac and Vascular Group
brings all of our cardiac and vascular businesses together into one
cross-functional, collaborative operating unit to employ the full breadth of
our talent, technologies, products, services, and solutions to address the
needs of customers and patients across the globe.


**AORTIC, PERIPHERALAND VENOUS (APV)** offers treatment for vascular abdominal and thoracic
aortic disease, interventional devices used to treat Peripheral Artery Disease
(PAD) through catheter-based procedures and diagnostic technologies and venous
therapeutic solutions for superficial and deep vein diseases.


**A Day in the Life:** This is the first position of its kind in the APV Quality
department. As such, you will have the
scope to create your own path regarding how to enhance the use of data to meet
Medtronics mission.


The
primary job responsibilities will include:


+ Developingdata automation tools using modern analytics and visualization softwarepackages. Requires skills and subject matter expertise in handling largevolumes of data, variety of databases, and analytical tools including cloudbased computing tools.

+ Developand automate reports meeting the needs of stakeholders. Work with stakeholdersto establish the right metrics for monitoring the business.

+ Compile,enter and interpret data and analyze results using statistical techniques.

+ Executequantitative analyses that translate data into actionable insights. Provideanalytical and data-driven decision-making support for key projects.

+ Workwith stakeholders to gather functional requirements and work with IT andengineering to help deliver data driven solutions.

+ Communicatefindings on a regular basis to leadership.

+ Assistin defining and driving standards for data management including innovativesolutions for data reporting and trending.

+ Validatesolutions


**Must Have: MinimumRequirements**

Bachelors Degree and 2 + years of experience in
Quality OR Masters degree


and 0 years of experience in Quality.


**Nice to Have**


+ 2+ years of experience with medicaldevice analytics

+ Demonstrated ability to turn data intoinformation that helps drive decisions.

+ Effective at influencing and buildingstrong working relationships across all levels and diverse cultures

+ Demonstrated experience inaccomplishing objectives. Able todeliver on multiple projects simultaneously.

+ Experience with Power BI, SpotFire, CognitionCockpit and/or Tableau

+ Bachelors degree in mathematics,computer science, statistics, business or engineering.

+ 7+ years of experience in data analysisand big data

+ Experience in the area of data analysisand cloud computing

+ Experience with data entry and analysisin standard data management tools
