Job Summary

AECOM is needing a highly motivated person to handle a dual hat role that encompasses both Quality Control and Site Safety Health Officer.

  • Oversees the management of the monitoring and evaluation process to ensure that AECOM quality management systems are being followed and evidence is recorded and maintained.

  • Provides guidance to employees within the latitude of established policies.

  • Recommends changes to policies and establishes procedures that affect immediate organization.

  • Works on issues of diverse scope where analysis of situation or data requires evaluation of a variety of factors, including understanding of current business trends.

  • Acts as advisor to subordinates to meet schedules and/or resolve technical problems.

  • May have budget responsibilities.

  • Manages the coordination of activities of a group or department with responsibility for results.

  • In some instances, may be responsible for functional area and may not have direct reports.

Minimum Requirements

  • BA/BS + 8 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.

  • Responsible for quality and production on the project.

  • Ensure company and customer requirements are met.

  • Enforce AECOMs Safety Program and APP.

  • Assist in Project Schedule development and updates.

  • Perform field inspections to ensures work installed per all contract documents.

  • Minimum 10 years demonstrated experience.

  • Experience supervising NAFVAC Project.

  • Fluent in English communication skills.

  • Approval by Contracting Officer required.

  • Develop and site utilization plan.

  • Manage Subcontractors.

  • Complete Daily Reports.

  • Assist in pencil copy reviews.

  • Attend and participate in meetings with NAVFAC, QC, Safety and Subcontractors.

  • Experienced in building turning-over.

  • Experienced in implementing Commissioning Plan.

  • Must Have Skills/Experience (Including any required Certifications):

  • Construction Quality Management (CQM) for Contractors.

  • Familiar with the requirements of USACE EM-385-1-1

  • Proficient with Microsoft Products (Word and Excel)

  • Due to the nature of the work, US citizenship is required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Federal Construction experience.
