Intelligence, Information and Services (IIS) is seeking a successful candidate to support its Rapid Aerostat Initial Deployment (RAID) programs Logistics Support Center (LSC) located in Charleston, South Carolina. Under general supervision of the program lead, candidate coordinates property control activities to ensure continual accountability of government, associate contractor, or company property in accordance with applicable government regulations or corporate policy. Maintains property accountability records and determines condition and arranges disposal of surplus or obsolete material or equipment. Contacts potential users and negotiates transfers. Conducts property audits; provides guidance on government regulations pertaining to property accountability; develops, recommends, and implements property administration policy; and prepares periodic and special purpose reports. Position responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: Ensures full compliance with DoD property management and accountability requirements Serves as the single point of contact for all property book issues. Develops and implements procedures to cover the life cycle of accountable property and implements record keeping processes Ensures adequate record keeping and maintenance of an automated system, RAID Contractor Logistics Support (RCLS) for traceability and accountability of durable assets from original acquisition through final disposition. Provides with inventory management and provides functional guidance to supply support activities. Prepares documentation using Army Regulations, DA PAM 710-1, DA PAM 710-2 and AR 735-5 for system inventory and all transactions pertaining to each system. Maintain documentation for audits, tracking and reports. Ensures cyclic maintenance actions are completed of all property book items as required. Track accountability of equipment locations and movement of equipment utilizing Defense Property Accountability System (DPAS). Prepare and manage the following documents: o DA 3161 Lateral Transfer o DA 2062 Hand Receipts o DA 4949 Administrative Adjustment Reports o DA 2765 Issue and Receipt Documents o DA 1348 Issue Release/Receipt Document o DD 250 Material Inspection and Receiving Report o DA 1687 Notice of Delegation of Authority-Receipt for Supplies o Serial Number Registration Number changes Fosters a positive work atmosphere promoting high performance and teamwork. Required Skills: 2+ years of applicable logistics and/or transportation experience related to military or Government contract work. Knowledge/experience of managing Government Property under provisions of AR700-142 and AR 735-5, AR 710-2. Ability to work under limited supervision with strong interpersonal skills. Must be able to multi task, prioritize work, and be adaptive to change. Must be a US Citizen with current/exiting Secret Security Clearance Knowledgeable of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (52.245-1) as related to contract property. Experience with Microsoft office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) Must be able to withstand physical demands of a warehouse environment: seasonal hot/cold temperatures, bending, squatting, lifting/carrying up to 40 pounds, and standing for long periods of time. Desired Skills : Experience with the RAID Contractor Logistics Support (RCLS) Database Knowledge of RAID Tower system hardware and components Import/Export (EXIM) compliance experience. Working knowledge of SAP or Invoicing, Receipt, Acceptance and Property Transfer (iRAPT) (formally Wide Area Work Flow (WAWF)) Experience with military transportation & logistics, MILAIR, USTRANSCOM, etc. Experience configuring military 463L pallets for MILAIR shipments, aircraft load team member. HAZMAT Dangerous Goods IATA and DOT certification. Flight line and air cargo loading and palletization experience. Familiarity with DOD logistic practices and forms, DD250, DD1348, DD1149, etc. Required Education: BA/BS related to this job description or equivalent combination of education and experience (Bachelor's Degree - 8 years of additional applicable experience).
This position requires either a U.S. Person or a Non-U.S. Person who is eligible to obtain any required Export Authorization.
