Job Summary

Program Manager IV

AECOMs Federal Environmental Portfolio is seeking an experienced Senior Project/Program Manager for immediate employment in, or nearby, Sacramento, California. The individual will be primarily responsible for the Federal Portfolios USACE Sacramento and Los Angeles account management activities as well as the pursuit and management of new prime contracts and Firm-Fixed-Price/Cost-Plus-Fixed-Fee task orders with oversight on cost/budget, schedule, and quality. The applicant shall be competent, experienced, and knowledgeable in the full range of Hazardous, Toxic, and Radioactive Waste (HTRW) activities from investigations, to studies, designs, remediation, short-term operations and maintenance, as well as Military Munitions Response (MMR) actions. The successful candidate will also lead business development and marketing activities and the implementation of record keeping, administrative, and quality control programs. This individual will serve as our primary point of contact for all coordination involving the USACE Sacramento and Los Angeles Districts. Minimum Requirements

Minimum Requirements

  • BS + 8 Years of relevant industry and USACE experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Location in the western US preferred, US Citizenship is required

  • BS in engineering, geology, chemistry or related field with 10 years of Project Management and 5 years of Program Management experience in performing and managing USACE environmental remediation/HTRW/MMR

  • High degree of self-motivation and the ability to work independently

  • Must be willing to manage projects, lead proposal efforts, take direction, and work as a member of a collaborative team

  • Able and willing to travel occasionally

  • Ability to obtain/maintain a US Security Clearance

  • Demonstrated ability to manage and inspire people, and manage diverse project teams, to scope, schedule, and budget

  • Knowledge of financial accounting, reporting, and controls

  • Knowledge of federal contracts

  • Excellent communications and interpersonal skills, including both oral and written communications

  • Organizational management skills as well as the ability to perform detailed oriented work.

  • PE or other professional registration/certification

  • Advanced degree in a relevant field (Civil/Environmental)
