Project Manager US Branded Cards VP

US Branded Cards is seeking a candidate to join the Re-engineering Process Group. This individual will work closely with the Re-engineering Process Group Senior Managers and cross-functional partners to help drive strategic initiatives and improve performance across the Branded Cards business. This highly visible role will help provide connectivity, engagement and project leadership across the processes, products, data and technology that supports the Branded Cards business. They will be responsible for brainstorming re-design ideas and opportunities, tracking project plans/timelines and collaborating with cross-functional partners and work streams to implement process changes.


+ Develop process maps and actively participate in the process simplification to increase operational efficiency, reduce process variation, and identify gaps in controls or customer experience;

+ Engage and collaborate on day-to-day activities associated with process improvement/re-engineering efforts, brainstorming ideas and opportunities

+ Build strong relationship across the COO team and cross-functional partners to foster superb collaboration and execution/implementation engagement

+ Work closely with cross-functional partners to understand current state process maps, risks, controls, etc. and identify opportunities for improvements

+ Assist in identifying areas of improvements to reduce operational complexities and enhance controls and efficiencies

+ Manage project timelines, milestones tracking, expected outcomes, accountable owners and ensure effective communication and coordination

+ Assist in preparing presentations for Leadership/Management teams and participate in discussions

+ Stay abreast of process improvement methodologies across financial services and other industries to continually challenge and refine business processes


+ Bachelor's or Masters degree/equivalent experience

+ Experience: 5+ years of financial services, consulting, technology, project management or process re-engineering

+ Ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with process re-engineering and corresponding training and/or certifications such as Lean, Six Sigma, etc., and demonstrated track record of leader and team player on large, strategic, cross-functional projects

+ Excellent communication, presentation, project management, planning, organizational, solving skills

+ Strong analytical and financial skills to support opportunity identification and business case development

+ Knowledge of the Credit Card business, processes and procedures and/or financial services industry
