UW-IT is the central IT organization for the University of Washington, providing technology solutions to all three campuses, UW medical centers and global research operations. UW-IT collaborates with University partners to advance teaching, learning, innovation and discovery at the UW. UW-IT is currently looking for a project manager (PM) who will support the UW-IT work on Finance Transformation, the Universitys large scale project to modernize the its finance operations, business systems and processes. The position is a role in the newly established UW-IT FT program (ITF). In order to be successful the individual will need to exhibit excellent organizational and project leadership skills. Additionally, the role will require strong analytical acumen, broad awareness of key organizational objectives, and an ability to prioritize multiple timelines and competing goals. REQUIREMENTS: Equivalent education/experience will substitute for all minimum qualifications except when there are legal requirements, such as a license/certification/registration. DESIRED: CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT: This recruitment will fill multiple openings. Work in an open office environment and contribute to collaborative team work focused on problem-solving. Daily interactions with other team members, subject matter experts and stakeholders at all levels of the organization. While the general working hours are within Monday through Friday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m., the Project Manager will, on occasion, need to adjust hours to accommodate the business needs and deadlines. This position on the Finance Transformation Project is temporarily funded; continued employment is contingent on ongoing funding and performance. This position is eligible for flexible remote work.
