**A Day in the Life**


This
position will be a key member of the Medtronic team working to commercialize a
Surgical Robotics platform. This project manager will work closely with program
management, subsystem technical leads, engineers, and other cross-functional
team members to manage and coordinate new product development activities. They
will be responsible for project management of specific Surgical Robotic
instruments and/or accessories. This person will ensure that the team(s) meet
appropriate quality system process goals, are efficient and well-coordinated,
and have clear priorities.


**You will:**


+ Track and monitor project progress to achieve deliverables withinand as specified by the quality system

+ Construct, update and maintain project plans, timelines, resources,charters, and schedules

+ Track the financials of the project including forecasting, accruals,and actuals

+ Manage new product development process for projects in theInstrumentation and Accessories vector which may include software and hardware

+ Establishand maintain communication to coordinate stakeholders (including multipleteams, sites and disciplines) on projects

+ Schedule core team and other similar project meetings, documentmeeting minutes and key decisions, and track action items

+ Coordinate, track, proof and finalize project documents as neededwith limited supervision


**Must Have: Minimum Requirements**


+ Bachelorsdegree required

+ Minimum of 2 years of experience


**Nice to Have**


+ MastersDegree in Engineering or Master of Business Administration (MBA)

+ Minimum of 2 years of relevantexperience in Project Management or Engineering

+ Certificationas a Project Management Professional (PMP)

+ Expertknowledge of engineering management, both tools and process (project tracking /scheduling; document management; issue tracking, etc)

+ 2+years of experience with medical devices and systems

+ Comfortablewith a range of project management methodologies (sequential, waterfall, Scrum,Agile, etc)

+ Well-versedin RD, product development, and clinical / regulatory process (e.g. ISO 14971,ISO 13485)

+ 2+years of experience leading diverse and complex projects

+ Strongwritten and oral communication skills

+ Ableto influence all customers (both internal and external) on issues that impactthe business and its technical service and product strategies

+ Experiencecoordinating multiple teams to execute concurrent, interdependent projects
