Project Manager, Customer Experience Design - C12

The Customer Experience (CX) Design Project Manager is responsible for the delivery of assigned projects as well as ad hoc deliverables that arise from within the customer experience reimagination capability for various lines of business. This role will partner closely with cross-functional design teams and enable the exchange of information in a concise, logical, and understandable way that ensures forward momentum and progress on our efforts. The overall objective of this role is to contribute to continuous iterative exploration and investigation of experience design, business performance, and other measures to gain insight and drive business planning.

The candidate will be a detail-oriented strategic thinker passionate about solving complex problems and building consensus. They must possess an unrelenting problem-solving obsession and a strong desire to make their mark on the organization.

As a result, this role will enable us to define our customers end-to-end, future-state journey for one or more Lines of Business with partners across the organization, steward our experience vision in a way that harmonizes the delivery of our collective experience delivery efforts, and successfully design and deliver solutions within our ideal experience.


+ Responsible for the daily execution of significant projects within a focus area and resolution of complex customer experience journeys or moments where expertise is required to enable collaboration and decision making

+ Provide input during development and implementation phases, including formulation and definition of scope, objectives, and necessary system enhancements for complex, high-impact projects

+ Identify and communicate risks and impacts and propose risk mitigation options, considering business implications to the current business environment

+ Consult with CX partners and business clients to determine system functional specifications and partner with multiple management teams and other units to meet organizational objectives

+ Evaluate new developments and evolving business requirements and recommend appropriate alternatives and/or enhancements to current systems by analyzing business processes, procedures and industry standards

+ Provide in-depth and sophisticated analyses with interpretive thinking to define problems, develop innovative solutions and influence strategic functional decisions

+ Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.
