Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems is seeking a **Aeronautics Project Management 2** to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position is located in **New Town, North Dakota.**

+ Oversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management.
+ Reviews status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports.
+ Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives.
+ Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients.

This is an individual contributor, non-manager, role with no direct reports.

In this analyst role, the candidate will collaborate closely with key functional disciplines towards the goal of efficiently assessing and removing constraints in support of Production.

The candidate shall plan, prepare, issue and control production schedules and coordinate with Engineering, Manufacturing and Supply Chain to ensure a controlled flow of approved materials timed to meet production requirements. In addition, candidate shall negotiate engineering drawing release schedules and manage production change incorporation plans to effectively mitigate assembly disruption. The candidate shall advise management of the status of work in progress, material availability and potential production constraints to ensure that personnel, equipment, materials and services are provided to support master production schedule, shop load and inventory requirements.


**Basic Qualifications:**
3 Years' experience with a Bachelors Degree; or 1 Year experience with Masters Degree

**Preferred Qualifications:**
Experience with MS Excel highly preferred
Masters Degree in Project Management, Industrial Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering
Excellent skills in the following:
Problem solving
Team building
