Citi established its Citi Data Management Policy and Standard (CDMP) to govern and manage data in compliance with regulatory expectations. It sets forth the minimum requirements for the implementation of a consistent and controlled approach to create and use data as a critical corporate asset. The Policy also establishes a Governance Model for Data Management, Governance and Quality across Citi. All Citi employees, contractors, and personnel with responsibility for the ownership, production, and consumption of data must manage data in accordance with the CDMP.


**This position is in the US Consumer Bank, supporting its data governance related functions as outlined in the CDMP and managed by the US Consumer Analytics (USCA) team.**


The Strategic Data Management PMO Lead is a program management professional who will lead the program management office for the U.S. Consumer Strategic Data Management COE (Center of Excellence) and Data Product Management teams to coordinate amongst the various work streams and contribute to organizational effectiveness.


The ideal candidate will have a proven record of accomplishment in strategic program management, managing teams, and managing work across cross functional teams. Excellent communication skills required to negotiate internally, sometimes at a senior level. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required in guide, influence and convince others, in particular colleagues in other areas and occasional external customers.


Responsibilities:


+ Lead the development of the program management office for the Utegic Data Management COE and Data Product Management teams to ensure the result is an efficient team that manages initiatives and objectives across the various work streams

+ Manage cross functional working groups to ensure timelines and tasks for CDMP implementation execution are met and completed.

+ Partner with Business Optimization and Communication Lead to ensure consistent implementation of communication strategies across all COE team members.

+ Ensure concise, consistent documentation across all work streams, including risks and issues and status reporting

+ Re-enforce communications best practices and use of templates for the organization to facilitate consistency of format in documentation

+ Lead creation of new templates when needed

+ Support requests from the Global Consumer Bank (GCB) Citibanks U.S. Consumer Executive leadership team for updates on strategic priorities, commentary on Scorecard variances, and other ad-hoc requests

+ Manage Technology project submission and prioritization in support of all COE required Technology work.

+ Manage Technology Budget requests and approval, ensuring all required Technology funds are secured.

+ Serve as a key liaison between COE Team Leads and Data Product Management Leads

+ Sets business strategic plans within the team and partners to enable successful implementation of the Citi Data Management Policy and regulatory commitments


Management


+ Manage a team of program managers to ensure adherence implementation of Citis Data Management Policy (CDMP) and maximize the use and value of resources across the Strategic Data Management COE and Data Project Management teams.

+ Be a thought leader for Data Management and Data Governance. Share best practices. Identify ways to simplify and enhance the way we do our work

+ Be a trusted advisor and partner to the supporting functions and stakeholders.

+ Present status updates, issues / challenges / risks and solutions to senior management, stakeholders, and partners in a succinct manner to drive decision-making and actions.

+ Lead meetings to solve issues / challenges / risks by factoring input from partners and diverse points of view.


Qualifications:


+ 10+ years of experience

+ Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to work under pressure and prioritize tight deadlines

+ Self-motivated and prepared to grow into independent work

+ Ability to drive progress with limited guidance and short turnaround times

+ Ability to influence broadly and challenge conventional thinking. An influencer who communicates clearly and builds partnership and consensus, but also speaks up for the right course of action

+ Ability to multi-task, highly organized, and high level of attention to detail

+ People-person, meaning youve got excellent interpersonal relationship skills and early ability to cultivate and maintain effective working relationships at all levels of an organization, even in remote circumstances

+ Self-confidence and exceptional communication and strategic thinking skills to engage with those reporting into C-Suite leadership, and demystify technical intricacies in language and context relevant to a broader audience

+ Experience with MS Office tools, including strong presentation development skills (PowerPoint)

+ PMI / PMP certification


Education:


+ Bachelors/University degree, Masters degree preferred
