Job Description
Reviewing the contractor's applications for payment, processed/reviewed shop drawings, review material quantity surveys, and measure subcontractor production
Interpret shop drawings accordingly to coordinate and solve problems during construction
Verify material certification with every installation, receive shop drawings and RFIs and monitor approvals and resolutions
Analyze, price and submit change order requests, review submittals and shop drawings, and provide document/drawing control
Coordinate and schedule shop drawings, catalog cuts, and sample submittals in a timely manner
Coordinate material submittals of shop drawings and RFIs and monitor their dispositions
Develop and implement procedures for the receipt, logging, tracking and distribution of subcontractor submittals and RFIs
Review construction plans and specification, review contractor submittals, plans and construction schedules
Review contractor submittals for timeliness, completeness and evaluate submittals for technical adequacy
Assist the Program Manager in maintaining the Request for Information (RFI), shop-drawing logs
Work with the Program Manager and Superintendent in issuing RFI's
Review all RFI's, Change Orders and Submittals, while processing accordingly
Prepare tracking logs (submittal, MODs, RFIs, change order & closeout trucking log)
Assist, coordinate, and manage typical and complex renovation issues on new construction and multiple renovation construction activities
Prepare agendas and meeting minutes for subcontractor meetings
Attend project meetings, record meeting minutes and implement changes to current office and site procedures to increase efficiency
Prepare the agenda, attend Progress meetings, taking meeting minutes & prepared meeting reports & project updates
Establish and maintain a document control processing
Minimum Requirements
- BA/BS + None or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
Preferred Qualifications
- 2 or more years of work experience
