Position Overview This key project management role will support the Business Analytics & Modeling (BSAM) Groups Data and Technology strategies. The Data and Technology Strategies will encompass all of BSAM and include implementation and execution of processes such as CECL, CCAR and Economic Capital, Model Development, Portfolio Management as well as other BSAM activities in support of LOBs. This role will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on BSAM capabilities through the execution of multi-year projects. Some of the things you will be responsible for are - smoothly executing projects, such as those related to CECL and CCAR, including identifying milestones, tracking and monitoring them and ensuring project teams are achieving results - surfacing potentially contentious issues and working to resolve them - identifying, creating and implementing process improvements with a focus on automation - implementing ways to improve the quality and accuracy of data as well as to connect data to drive better business decisions Key requirements are as follows: BS, preferably in a quantitative filed. Advance degree is a plus. 5+ years of related experience Strong demonstrated project management experience Ability to think strategically and envision the big picture and, at the same time, get into the details of implementation Ability to engage and motivate diverse technical and non-technical team members Ability to independently execute projects Understanding of model development Understanding of BSAM model execution processes such as CECL and CCAR Strong verbal and written communication skills Solid working knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint. Tableau is a plus Job Description Leads a team of project managers to ensure the execution of organizational programs in support of corporate strategy. Typically project size is $10m to $25m. Manages the general and detailed planning stages of organizational programs; influences project decisions to achieve overall program goals. Oversight and accountability for the program budget while working to ensure success of the program. Evaluates the implementation and effectiveness of the programs and recommends enhancements to programs based on results. Teams with service partners to ensure seamless delivery and a consistent experience across multiple distribution channels. IT Standards, Procedures & Policies Knowledge of and the ability to utilize a variety of administrative skill sets and technical knowledge to manage organizational IT policies, standards, and procedures. Organizational Leadership Knowledge of, and ability to use strategies and skills to enlist others in setting, embracing and achieving objectives. Problem Solving Knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational or process problems; ability to apply this knowledge appropriately to diverse situations. Project Administration Knowledge of, and ability to use, organizational strategies, practices and tools for administering projects. Project Management Ability to plan, organize, monitor, and control projects, ensuring efficient utilization of technical and administrative resources, to achieve project objectives. Work Experience Roles at this level typically require a university / college degree, with 5+ years of industry-relevant experience. Specific certifications are often required. In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education and experience (including military service) may be considered.
