**Summary** :









Recruits, researches, sources, interviews, screens, and refers job candidates for job openings by performing the following duties.

















**Essential Duties and Responsibilities** include the following. Other duties may be assigned.













+ Participate in on-going discussions with management and hiring managers/supervisors/directors to identify staffing needs, job specifications, responsibilities, qualifications and skills needed for particular positions within the organization.



+ Communicates with departments about current applicants and future openings/issues as needed.



+ Develops and maintains network of contacts to help identify and source qualified applicants.



+ Develops and maintains contacts with educational programs and professional organizations.



+ Develops recruitment programs, budgets, and collateral, such as brochures, about the organization and its opportunities.



+ Develops and implements sourcing plans for open positions.



+ Represents SVHC at local/regional/national career/job fairs and develops a dedicated calendar of events. Coordinates participation in, sets up displays, and works at job/career fairs to positively promote the organization.



+ Files and maintains employment/recruitment records for future references/placement.



+ Develops recruitment plans and strategies within budget and policies for specific positions in order to secure qualified applicants for the selection process.



+ Utilizes Internet online as well as all other types of recruiting sources to identify and recruit qualified applicants.



+ Demonstrated knowledge of EEO/ADA laws and conducts employment interviews under applicable regulations.



+ Insures employment-related posting requirements are followed according to policies and procedures of the organization.



+ Provides information on company facilities and employment opportunities to potential applicants.



+ Initiates recruitment activity upon receipt of approved paperwork utilizing the most appropriate and cost effective means. Writes and places employment advertisements in various media.



+ Prescreens and interviews applicants in accordance with Stormont-Vail Health _Care_ policies and procedures in compliance with all state and federal laws.



+ Initiates contact with qualified applicants for specific employment opportunities.



+ Works with external recruiters and employment agencies to identify and recruit applicants as needed.



+ Reviews applications and interviews applicants to obtain work history, education, training, employment skills, and salary requirements and to provide information about the organization and position.



+ Maintains and updates recruitment-related software, specifically Position Manager and Test Source on an on-going basis.



+ Communicates with applicants about the status of their employment application.



+ Arranges travel and lodging for out-of-town applicants as needed.



+ Facilitates employment offers and initiates appropriate paperwork for new hires, promotions, demotions and transfers per organization policies and procedures.



+ Works with other team members to validate the license/registration/credentials of applicants being considered for employment.



+ Requests reference and background checks on applicants that have employment offers.



+ Offers outplacement services due to position abolishment as needed.



+ Performs other duties as assigned or as judgment or necessity dictates.

**Education/Experience:**









Bachelors Degree (B.A., B.S.) in Business Administration, Human Resources Management, or other related field and three years of Human Resources/marketing experience required.
