Essential Duties and Responsibilities:



  • Lead by example relative to Our Shared Values - Safety, Quality, Integrity, Attitude, Accountability and Teamwork.

  • Review /conduct studies for and respond to customers capacity requests

  • Ensure accuracy of and adherence to Zone Production Schedules 

  • Ensure schedules are aligned to customer forecasts and releases

  • Maintain overall capacity analysis, communicating with team and customers as necessary

  • Ensure Department Performance Results are continually improved

  • Create Master BOMs and ensure accurate routings

  • Collaborate with the Plant Management Team to obtain and share resources to ensure on time delivery and attaining performance goals

  • Lead by example in all areas related to Safety and assure all team members do the same.

  • Train, Coach, and Mentor the Leaders and Operations team in best materials practices

  • Develop, Organize, and Report on Key Performance Indicators of the department

  • Aid in development of policies and procedures for Inventory Control

  • Lead Continual Improvement Projects in department and throughout the Plant

  • Possess the ability to act as a liaison between vendors, customers, production and other departments throughout the company

  • Maintain customer capacity databases

  • Collaborate with management on forecasting models

  • Create and maintain the master schedule for assigned locations

  • Interact with Management to define overall production strategy

  • Determine long range capacity needs and communicate to leadership

  • Aid Inventory Team in correcting errors and guide on proper corrections

  • Interacts with Production Schedulers to ensure compliance/continuously improve schedule

  • Participate in new program launches, stay informed to schedule machine trials as necessary with minimal impact to the production schedule

  • Monitor Production efficiency by jobs and resource and work with Operations Team on improvement efforts

  • Set appropriate order modifiers in ERP system (min/max levels, internal lead times per part, etc)

  • Support team in achievement of performance goals

  • Must have a good understanding of Supply Chain processes and aid in improvements

  • Meet deadlines for completion of delegated tasks

  • Other duties as assigned
