Reporting to U.S. Banks Enterprise Analytics team, this individual will be a highly engaged, expert analytics partner with a passion for how data can change outcomes in the real world. The lead analyst will be expected to be flexible in support of an evolving set of client needs, but their primary responsibility will be to build a best in class source of truth for U.S. Banks consumer lending business, by exploring and manipulating a variety of digital, operational, sales, and marketing data. The Lead Analyst will work in close partnership with other analysts, marketers, and product owners to enable better decisions, educate and empower teams, and develop insight that will inform multiple downstream clients and journey studios. As U.S. Banks data architecture and analytics capabilities are rapidly expanding, a successful candidate will adapt and learn new methods, data, and tools quickly. The individual will need to become fluent in existing data, systems, and tools (customer and marketing data, digital/click-stream data, third party data, CRM and operational data). The capacity to listen and translate business needs into analytical methods and a dedication to a quality and sustainability are a must in this role. In addition, the lead analyst will be expected to support and educate analytical and business leaders to understand trends, prioritize business objectives and tests, and evolve the overall strategy of their business. **Qualifications:** Basic Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as econometrics, computer science, engineering or applied mathematics, or equivalent work experience - Six to eight years of statistics or analytics experience Preferred Skills/Experience - Working knowledge of analytics and statistical software such as SQL, R, Python, Excel, Hadoop, SAS, SPSS and others to perform analysis and interpret data - Experience in analytics, advanced analytics/statistics, predictive modeling - Strong analytic skills with the ability to extract, collect, organize, analyze and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets - Demonstrated project management skills - Effective interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills -Masters degree in math, statistics, data science, or MBA -2 years in a client-facing, consultative role (e.g., agency, consultancy, internal client-facing) -1 years of experience working with reporting or dashboard technology, such as Tableau -1 years of experience working with clickstream and digital event data -1 years of experience working with data from salesforce.com or a similar CRM tool -Experience working in an agile (scrum) environment -Experience building, testing, deploying predictive and machine learning solutions -Strong technical skills with the ability to extract, combine, organize, analyze and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets -Experience working in the banking industry, marketing, and/or digital analytics **Job:** Risk/Compliance/QC/Audit/Fraud **Primary Location:** Minnesota-MN-Minneapolis **Shift:** 1st - Daytime **Average Hours Per Week:** 40 **Requisition ID:** 190033644 U.S. Bank is an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to creating a diverse workforce.
